Yeah I was pretty annoyed. Even if they don’t have the tool, you’d think that Ford would outline the necessary tool(s) along with the parts needed when a dealer declares the need to do this repair.
Update: The dealership confirmed the issue prior to Christmas, got approval from Ford, and ordered the parts for the repair all under warranty. They stuck me in a Bronco Sport loaner and now i’m just waiting. Last I heard, they haven’t started any work because they lack the necessary tools. I...
