You have a 342 engine build day. I surprised that they still had bad valves getting in the mix so late in the year. Please keep us posted on your engine replacement progress!
21174 - No one has posted a failure with that date yet. I could be the first. This whole situation has me really upset and I'm trying to make the best of it but I really am afraid I will have the valve issue since others around my build date already had a failure.
I just passed 1800 miles. I got it back in early December and don't drive it much because I have a few other vehicles to rotate use on. I'm taking video of every trip I take in the Bronco now and am starting a video vlog series on my youtube channel called "Will it blow?" I hope I never have to...
This is great to hear. I'm a 21174 build so although every engine built around that date has a chance of having a bad valve, it's gives me some hope. I just crossed 1800 miles so I have a long way to go before I'll feel more comfortable. I'll let everyone know if mine explodes.
They wanted a $27k ADM?! I would NEVER talk to them again! $10k is absurd as well especially after what you've already been through. My $50k Big Bend Sasquatch rig with a 2.7L engine and a day 174 engine build date sits in my driveway with 1800 miles. It's very possible I could have the valve...
Does anyone know how many 2021 two door bronco's were made in Antimatter Blue? I'm thinking I might have a rare build. (I hope my 2.7L motor doesn't explode)
thats fantastic! i'm looking for peace of mind and that helps some. not knowing if im driving a time bomb is not pleasant and didnt expect to feel this way so soon after buying.
mine doesn't either but i thought that was by design. don't know why they wouldn't have a light in there but my jeep didn't either. what bothers me is the light near the 12v outlet in the back doesn't light up when i open the rear hatch.
