This is true, as of yesterday 10/13, ford did convert all non-converted orders to 99 for the switch to MY22. Once you put your new build in and approve then your dealer needs to switch it back to 10-19 not ford. So make sure when you get your dora the new code is 10-19

You definitely can 99' your order for as long as you like. If your dealer just doesnt know or is playing games say you want a Mod top which is MY23 and just change it when it time to order for MY23

If your reserved/ordered before 3/19 your price protection certificate covers that difference

Usually just place a small blanket on my softtop JK and throw the tree on top with some ratchet straps and no problems for a short to medium drive.
