@MrBud I am interested! I’ve gotten slammed with work recently and haven’t had a chance to take a good look at this yet. Let me browse it over this weekend. Sounds like a 2-3 day trip with primitive camping. Did I interpret that right?
I have a small deck boat (3,100lbs) that I tow with my BMW X3. I’d like to try towing the boat with my Big Bend which has the After delivery Ford hitch and 4 way flat bar light connection, not the factory tow package.
On my X3 there was a simple adapter to get the 5 way to work with my 7pin...
It’s an option but I bought mine off the lot to see if I liked this kind of vehicle enough to wait a year and drop 60+k on one. I didn’t get to pick my options, it was all that was available.
Turns out it’s my dream vehicle.
I’ll be vulnerable here. I’m new to 4x4 vehicles and new to Off-Roading. I was recently on some trails and in 4H. I finished up and hopped on the County highway. I was 10 miles down the dry paved road going 65 before I realized I never pushed the button back. Took care of that and considered...
@Julz670 I'd for sure be down for headed back up to these trails or other sometime as a group. I have packed weekends for the next several weeks so wouldn't be available till later in August or earlier September unfortunately.
I live in Richfield, MN and our cabin is in Luck, WI. Both times I've gone I've left and returned from the cabin in luck so that cut the drive time to get to these trails. There are a lot of (primitive/no water/electric) camp sites around these trails that could easily help cut the commute time...
So I went on Off-road trails this weekend and decided to enjoy the experience with the top back. I knew it'd get dirty inside but I didn't buy this vehicle to not get dirty. There is quite a bit of dust on the inside and I am about to tackle the job of cleaning it up. The most dust came from the...
Also to note: I forgot to start tracking my route until after two hours of driving in the St. Croix Forest. There are a lot of trails you can conquer there and more that you see on my last pic.
Hey all! I hope you had a good 4th of July. I went on another Off-Road adventure, this time a lot longer and a lot more trails. I thought I'd give an update in the event any of you have the itch...sometimes it's hard to take that next step...but it is totally worth it!!!
First, I downloaded onX...
You missed my big bend on page 43. It’s the one with underground graphics vinyl applied. Bought it off the lot and like the Bronco enough I’m going to order a Badlands when the order banks come back online.
When I am curious if any Bronco trims come with Auto Brake Hold. My BMW has it and my Honda had it too. My current Big Bend Bronco does not.
I am going to order a Badlands when the order banks come bank online and I’m curious if any of the Broncos have it.
It’s quite nice when waiting in line...
I just registered my Bronco with the MN DNR as an Off-Road Vehicle. $38 and I am good for three years. From my understanding this allows me to be on designated trails on State land in MN. If you are interested in doing the same it's just a visit to the DMV and you'll get an extra tab to put on...
I paid my dues as a good father and husband and drove a minivan before our Bronco. Now, I’ve rediscovered the joy of driving for just wanting to drive because it is fun.
I’ve found having the top down makes for less conversation and more time for music listening as a family. My son (6) and...
