This announcement actually makes sense but a lot of stuff Ford has done left us scratching our heads.

Still waiting on my order but it will be interesting to see how the quality of the Bronco stacks up against the competition over time. We’re barely a year into production and there’s lots of quality issues floating around. Some objective data would be nice to have.

You’re getting into luxury SUV range at that point without features. Not apples to oranges but Ford could find their profit margins drying up. I would just order a basesquatch at that point and deal without the watered down”lux” package.

Not surprised given the planned shut down and not unusual to wait on scheduling until the third week anyway. Hopefully suppliers have been able to play catch up during the shut down so that factory efficiency is the rate limiting step in getting these Broncos built.

That statement goes against the common knowledge floating around that car dealers are doing as well or better than ever because overhead has actually decreased with low volume and they are making record profits on new and used units. Consider watching Your Auto Advocate on YTube.

Good thoughts but there is so much demand that this scenario isn't as predictable as in the past. Maybe we will some increased used inventory. There are a lot of people stretching hard to get the Bronco in their driveways. Repos and resales may increase in frequency. Crazy to think that paying...

Sounds like the dealership did not secure the vehicle prior to selling it to you. At least legally. However, if the other dealer did sell it out from a binding contract between the two dealers and subsequently to you, then you could have a case. And if they did, then they are banking on you...

Exactly my question and I’m not sure my dealer will be able to answer. I certainly don’t want to be 6-8 weeks behind on the 2023 orders when I find out they won’t build my 2022. Not sure Ford can be counted on to prioritize remaining 2022 orders without VINs into the 2023 builds. Look what...
