Yeah, I actually had one I towed it with two ATVs on top. Ended up selling it because we down sized and got rid of one of the ATVs. But I have regretted it ever since. I took it on a 10 day elk hunt in northern Idaho and it rained every day. Never a leak. Had it up in the mountains in Nevada on...
Another less expensive but still great option is the Jumping Jack Trailer. A few different sizes available, 800-2200 pounds, and you can use it as more than just a camping trailer.
That’s a pizza cutter for sure. I don’t want anything bigger than 11.5” in a 35. Ideally 10.5, but not sure that exists in anything beyond those ultra aggressive super swampers.
WTF? If ever there was a reason to take the fenders off due to risk of trail damage, this was it. And the only rig we see without a fender flare is the damn Jeep? What’s wrong with these people? ?
I imagine that since the 2 door model’s rear seat is a two-person bench instead of three, and the doors are wider on the 2 door, then there isn’t enough room behind the 2 door’s rear seat to stow the doors in the rear cargo area.
Now, if you lay the seats down, there may be enough room to stow...
Maybe we are in the minority here but I agree. I actually love the gray. I don’t mind the contrast to the black handles, trail sights, bumpers, etc. Would I prefer matte or satin black? Sure, but I still love the gray. I’d also love to see white tops rolling around town. Such a classic look. I’d...
Speaking of which, what accessories are we looking at here? I recognize Maxtrax and Rotopax. Is that a standard tool box? What’s the tube on the right? And what brand roof rack? I’m looking for more of an overland build on a 4 door, so this paired with an awning on one side, and a hi-lift...
I’m amazed we haven’t seen renderings of the classic Shelby racing stripes. Man, that sounds amazing actually. That cobalt blue with white racing stripes down the center. Or maybe Oxford white with cobalt blue racing stripes running up the hood and over a white hard top. Or an “Eleanor” inspired...
I can’t stand excessive lifts or wide tires. 12.5” is pushing it for width in my opinion. I ran 255x85x16 (33”x10”)on my yota and LOVED them. Toyo makes a 35x11.5x17 I plan on going with if I don’t get the sas on my future BL. 37x12.5 is a great size too though...
I’ve never understood those...
What’s the consensus for what the Lux will will run us?
My current plan is 4 door BL, 2.7/10spd, Lux package, hardtop, 4.7 (if I can get a la carte).
My wife’s Ascent has adaptive cruise and it is a game changer for any real length of time spent on a highway or freeway. Lux appears to be only...
