Just had this update and the wiper motor done at the same time.
The window drop feature on unlock is an improvement, but I’ve noticed it only triggers when you unlock the vehicle via fob. If I unlock by putting my hand on the door handle with fob in pocket, the windows don’t drop… pretty...
That's hopeful. Did he have knowledge that the update is meant to address this situation specifically, or is it just a general update and he is hoping it might make a difference?
That’s the best capture of the issue I’ve seen yet. hopefully someone at Ford is looking into this.
The more annoying issue to me is phone call audio dropping. The other person will go silent and I’ll have to scramble to dig my phone out of my pocket while driving to flip speaker phone on and...
Hey, unfortunately not. If you DM Ford, they just ask for a bunch of information about you to update their CRM system and then ultimately tell you to reach out to a dealership as the next step.
Hopefully we’ll get an OTA update like ibuprofen that fixes it.
June 2024 update and possible solution: try cycling from the "Pitch & Roll" window in Sync to one of the other options (e.g. "Now Playing"), even if you have Carplay in full screen mode (Sync modules still run in the background). Credit to @ThickAsOats for identifying Pitch & Roll as the culprit...
Lubing the seals did not help in my case. The only fix I've found is to leave the driver's panel front right elbow clip permanently unlatched. I guess that suggests it might be overtensioned and is creating excessive contact between the driver and passenger panel?
Thanks for posting. I have two related questions on this topic:
1. What is the correct term for the yellowing bars at the end of the defogger lines that is shown at the top of this picture?
2. Why is that component yellowing, and is that normal?
It's definitely the hard top popping, it's silent when the top is off. I've noticed the pops are also 80% less frequent if I leave the front right elbow latch on the drivers panel in the unlatched position. The noise seems to be coming from directly above that point.
I've had the pins wrapped...
OP, I think it's a little unclear what kind of feedback you are looking for to begin with.. you bought a new car at MSRP and you have the window sticker that breaks down how every aspect of your spec was priced.
The context of this forum that might help explain some of these responses is that...
Has anyone experienced an issue with the factory wiper blades leaving smudges on the windshield at the point where they reverse direction? I know it's not an issue of running the wipers on a too-dry windshield as it happened while I was literally driving out of a hurricane yesterday and I was...
Interesting, I'll have to try that. There are a lot of rubber seals up there - did you identify a primary offender, or did you just apply grease to all of them?
I've definitely noticed some noises that come and go with rain / humidity.
My '22 Badlands hard top is another victim of hardtop popping / rattling / tapping issues. I know there have been many threads on seemingly the same topic, however mine is different from those I've read.
My read is that this noise is most commonly heard from slightly back and left of the...
