Sounds to me like thar dealer is awful close to going under the name match requirements and are trying to force customers to commit.

I'm glad I didn't see this til the end of my workday because it sent me back to being infuriated with the whole process. I'm not buying a vehicle that needs 6+ months to complete while there are build weeks getting shipped and sold within 7 days of the blend date

The 1/10 build week is the Gen X of the Bronco forum. Can't be bothered to be involved in our thread, completely disregarded by the boomers (Ford) and the generations after us (later build weeks) while we go about our ice mountain lives.
