They were originally developed for shackles to keep them from chipping powder coat as the shackles bounced around and to silence the shackles banging on the bumper when driving. They don't really serve any purpose otherwise.
Just finished doing the same using the Kickr 6.75" sub. Adds enough bass for my ears, and I don't expect a reference quality system in a truck. No mod to the housing other than adding some foam tape to snug up the speaker in the housing and drilling new fastener holes
Ended up being user error. The connector on the car became disconnected from the connector that it connects to. Once I plugged all three parts inline together it worked just fine.
Not sure why the OBD port onmy Wildtrak has two parts that plug together while the port on my son's Big Bend is...
The 2.3.52 beta version is no longer available, and the version on site is 2.3.52.
I downloaded that, got a license key, and the program will not connect to the 2023 Bronco Wildtrak. Any suggestions?
