A buddy of mine (here in South Denver Metro so not quite the Peoples Republic of Boulder) is 6'8" and drives an old-ish Forester. It's always funny seeing that guy in that car when he putters by my house.
I have a book that has a list of various CO trails and ranks them by difficulty. I don't have it with me or I would send photo of the cover. Good place to start.
I just tried to re-watch Fast Times at Ridegmont High a few weeks ago. Didn't make it past about 15 minutes. That one didn't age well. I remember it as about the funniest thing since sliced bread when it came out.....
Great catch man! Personally I fly fish for small untouched native brook trout in pa mountain runoff streams but definitely want to fly fish for pike one day.
What a beauty! I love catching small brookies on small streams w/ little pressure! It's usually really relaxing until I start...
I saw in another thread that we should start a fly fishing thread. So here it is. I did a search and didn't find a specific thread. If there is, this thread can be merged into it by whoever does those things.
Where will you take your Bronco to fish? Since this is an open forum, please be...
Colorado is the land of the SUVS and I can't do a run to the liquor store (and I live less than 2 miles from 3 large ones - I live in the land of retail) without seeing 1,453 jeeps, 743 4Runners, 77 FJs and any number of Xterras that are barely scraping by. So the dealers in the neck of the...
I learned on a manual and have had a few manual vehicles but none for probably 20 years +. My fIrst manual was a 1980 VW Dasher Diesel wagon. I don't miss that one. I rented a car in Costa Rica a few years ago and it was a manual. Stalled out a few times trying to re-learn but it came back...
Zach and team, any initial feeling about conversion % in general? Just wondering what you are seeing. We all know nothing is certain, but we are starving for nuggets we can over analyze and use to make stupid assumptions about when we can get a bronco!
I love Dan Neil. I wait for his articles every Saturday. I usually wait to read it with a hot coffee early Saturday after that strange thing called a newspaper arrives! Go find his article about the Defender from a few weeks ago. I was rolling on the floor.
I don't really care about the mid or other packages as I want to keep price down. If I go base, I'm going to watch this forum for the bumpers, etc. that will eventually go on sale and build it up from there.
If I go base, I'm in the same boat. I searched threads and the hitch appears to be a 4 bolt application....unless you want to wire it, then it's a bit more complicated.
