Softtop with free prep kit.... decision time! - Was going to get a softtop anyways but went hardtop to get the wiper and defrost(assuming it has the defrost) + winter considerations. Not sure the stock soft top is going to be as nice as a bestop aftermarket and I can tough it out for 1 or 2...
Shady but not unsurprising. You should have negotiated the pricing before you gave them a deposit. Now they got you by the balls. -- You may need to update your order for 22MY - I believe there may be some changes/options but not sure if you will need to do anything if you don't want/need...
If you order any of those hard tops at this point it might be well into 22 before you get your itch scratched ( unless you already have an early reservation. and even then might still be quite a while. )

10R60 has a max torque spec of 600Nm which is 443 ft/lbs
2.7 has a max output of 415 ft/lbs on premium fuel
Ford engineers apparently said that is conservative enough. What happens when you tune beyond 443 ( or 415 ) is an interesting question. 99% of these vehicles will never be tuned. I...
I don't even know if i really need a hardtop - we have a A5 convertible and the softtop is perfectly fine all year round ( not sure the Bronco top will be as nice ) - but I'm afraid of not getting the connections in case I want to switch. This would be great if true!
Can they train the marketing/advertising folks how to run the machines over at Webasto? If they can do as good a job over there we should be all set in no time!
