I am curious what happens if some Ford tech flashes your vehicles config over the HOSS 3 PSM on a service call. Does it brick? Does it need to be reflashed to the WildTrak again?
Umm no? But theyāre a carbon copy because they have licensing rights. The v2 tops from Ford have held up fine. I particularly like the quilted liner of the Anderson top. Havenāt seen a photo of the ADV.
Sure about that? Last time, it was all orders. Guess we will see. So far itās nothing but pictures and an internet promise. Anderson Composites is looking real nice.
Highly doubt theyāre going to ship TCUs with an unlocked baseband. Even if you got past that, the APNs are probably not programmable, and the carrier cell tower data likely isnāt loadable. Thatās assuming they even have all the bands turned on, which is highly questionable.
We beat the hell out of our Broncos at the off-roadeo I attended, doing mud crawls up rock faces, hitting all kinds of ditches and new drivers doing all kinds of stupid things. Not one mechanical problem. The instructor also mentioned they hadnāt broken a single tie rod in all the time theyāve...
Iāve driven the same vehicle with both. Hands down the hard top, when properly seated and with seals lubricated and clean is worlds quieter than an oem soft top.
that said Iāll be putting the soft top back on during the summer.
Mines pretty quiet - relatively. Volume maybe 6 or 7 is fine. The sound deadening liner looks really promising on this one. Hope they post some sound measurements. To my knowledge, nobody has done this yet.
