Stopped by this am to update for 23MY. Dealer had 5+ abandoned orders (Broncos) but they were all marked up 20k from MSRP. Sales said a few orders coming in and people don't want them for one reason or another. Rates going up, stock markets going down. The future is not looking great. I think...
That is great news, kinda. They were able to look at it quick, there was something obviously broke so easy fix, sucks it broke.
You get stuck with tow bill?
Why would they have you sign a paper that they are going to send you a check? Wouldn't they be the ones signing it? Promissory note so to speak would be signed by them to give you the money once they (dealer) has it.
Making me wonder if I shouldn't change to soft top for MY23 change and buy after market hardtop later on sometime. Course we could be looking at less than 1% actually having an issue.
I never received any emails about conversions or anything except the order confirmed.
I think its incomprehensible a dealer can not advise where you are in line for your order, what their allocation is and a rough estimate on when your order should go through (minus constraints, blah blah). You...
post 48 here shows some bolts to tighten down for the ground:

I think I heard of someone posting something similar a month or so ago and getting towed to a dealer, but not sure what happened. I remember they said they were on vacation, driving fine and then the next day they go to start and nothing. It might have been the battery, but I don't remember...
I'd probably still connect a jump pack or jumper cables and try it just to be sure. Single click or clicks usually means not enough amps for some reason.
Any lights when the door is open?
Using a longer drop hitch is no different than using a breaker bar or adding a pipe to a ratchet to get that stuck nut off. You can significantly increase power adding a lever. Using a drop hitch is no different, the farther you go, the less weight you can handle from the max load. Dropping that...
Most mechanical parts will have replacements forever. I'm thinking the APM that is bricking the screen or something electrical where the dash always has errors (like when some people takes the door off) or it doesn't switch GOAT mode, radio doesn't work or perhaps some climate control.
I...
So I'd do a poll if I knew how;
How long is the avg lifespan of a Bronco? Could be generic due to the amount of electronics in all cars these days, but it's getting to the point it should be prohibitively expensive to keep a car 10+ years due to the amount of electronic vs mechanical...
What type of piece did you cover up the body color with at the rear attach locations? Can't believe they just let that stick out like a sore thumb.
Looks great.
Do you get any rattles from it while driving?
I can understand the dilemma. People waiting for years for a Bronco.
I hated it when someone else scratches/dings my new car first. If I do it, so be it.. but someone else does it... ohh boy, watch out. As I've gotten older I've relaxed and had more of the whatever attitude. Still bothers...
you yell fire, you yell fox
silence = lawyers/legal
Even the dealer could update for what ever happened if it was in fact for the customer's benefit.
If the dealer doesn't update (maybe customer can't), it is not in their favor. That is unfair to the dealer and making them guilty until proven...
Ps. No EBB (elec brake boost) is close to old non boosted brakes when it has no power. Still works but you gotta press hard. I believe steering would be the same. Once you're rolling it's not too bad. At least the steering column doesn't lock.
Just do manual shift to neutral.
Post 9 below shows it. Pretty sure every auto trans has this feature.
