  1. Tie rod just snapped while turning around in driveway [Update: Replaced Under Warranty]

There is nothing tough enough in Ouray to challenge a rig enough to break tie rods. No wheel speed obstacles, nothing where a front locker is needed etc.
  2. Jeep trying too hard!!!!

Oh you mean like building a vehicle people can actually buy? Building a vehicle with a diesel that gets 30 mpg, or a plug in hybrid with 20 miles of all electric range? You mean building a vehicle that is best in class at rock crawling? I have had a bronco reserved for 600+ days now, but if...
  3. 2023 Bronco colors preview (w/ Azure Gray Metallic) from Ford Dealer Connection color & trim site

Does anyone else feel like Ford does not capture this market well? Jeep offers great bright colors, and a variety to fit everyone's needs. Ford is literally offering a lot of gray and silver. At what point do we think Ford is just not fit? My patience is weening..
  4. Matt’s Offroad Recovery rescues a Bronco by welding tie rods on the trail!

I have 63 thousand miles on my JL, all of them with 37s and have never had steering issues. I live 3 hours from moab and 5 hours from where this video was taken. I use the jeep off road with lockers engaged a lot. I have never had steering issues. Why, as a consumer would you not demand ford to...
  5. Matt’s Offroad Recovery rescues a Bronco by welding tie rods on the trail!

Can we please start to admit that this is a legitimate problem and Ford should have beefed these up?
  6. 🎬 Bronco Scheduling Today (1/20) is Underway!

Same, I'm so done with this. I don't understand.
  7. Lite Brite Bronco Crawls Fawlty Towers

@LiteBrite How much do you feel like the Badlands helped on this trail? For example, could a blackdiamond with sasquatch (35's, lockers) do this trail, or do you feel the swaybar disconnect really made it possible? Thanks!
  8. Broke my Bronco’s tie rod on rack and pinion 🤬

Obviously no vehicle is 1000% indestructible. But, check out the size of a JL tie Rod compared to a Bronco 6.
  9. Broke my Bronco’s tie rod on rack and pinion 🤬

Dude, this is a mild, very mild obstacle. Ford was showing these broncos on the Rubicon and in Moab. Don't be a Ford apologist, and just admit the parts are weak? A Rubicon would NOT have this happen and if Ford wants to play with the big boys we as customers need to push them to be better.
  10. Black Bear Pass Using Trail Turn Assist in Outerbanks Bronco 😲😱🤯

How about we don't ruin the trail and get them closed down? The San Juan's are a special place, don't ruin it
  11. Disconnecting Sway Bar Worth It For a Rookie Offroader?

If you're not going to be in situations where your wheels are crossed up often, (which it sounds like you won't) then I think you should stick with the Black Diamond. IF you were a regular in moab, or wanted to do the Rubicon then I would say otherwise. Also, with the Black Diamond Sasquatch...
  12. [TFL] Can a Sasquatch Bronco Keep Up With a Modded Wrangler & Defender When It Gets Serious Off-Road?

It's funny to me how many owners are going to have the sasquatch package, or badlands, and it will never touch more than a dirt road hahaha
  13. Traction control vs lockers

I wonder if stability control turns off, but break lock traction control stays on, I assume that is what happens
  14. Traction control vs lockers

They are pretty different in how they work, and best practices to use them. I use lockers when I am approaching an obstacle that I know will cross the vehicle up. (lift tires). As soon as that obstacle is over, the lockers are off and stay off until needed. Traction control if used...
