My steering rack decided it was done, and crapped out last night.
Begrudgingly, I ordered the Severe Duty rack for $1031 from Steeda, after shipping and taxes.
I considered having my extended warranty look at it, but it's not worth a month of back and forth, only for them to tell me my Apex...
Wonderful.
My steering rack just decided to make a bad sound and then fail with an error on the dash about steering assist problems.
I spent the entire day driving, then did two hours off-road, pulled into the neighborhood, turned into the driveway, "CRACK" . Everything looks good that I can...
I am!
Really looking forward to it, been needing some time away.
Day 1: Sliprock Lite
Day 2: John's Trail
Day 3: sleep in and do something local, all trail rides I was interested in were booked.
Day 4: Sliplock Gulch
Day 5: Sleep in and then drive home
Hope to see some of you there.
Yeah I missed out on getting day 2 and 3 rides as well. Hopefully they do add some extra groups.
If not, I guess I'll go find someone to do while I'm away from home 😎
Wishing you good luck on getting a trail ride. They definitely went faster than I expected
Truuue - better than $60k for a new Bronco though!
If I ever have stupid excess money, I might do it, but right now I need lower/upper control arms.
The good news is you can always swap that in if you want!
I think @Panda Motorworks has a kit and will pre-program it for you.

Agreed though...
I love them and recommend them. After a couple thousand miles of wear, they feel so freaking good, and the feel is consistent through the entire pedal press.
If you tow, just knowing that they're always going to be cool enough for the next hill is very comforting.
