  1. Start-stop with Manual Trans.

I learned recently that as battery tech has continually improved there are now specific spec for systems with auto start/stop. So the whole thought process going into the design of these systems is more complex than an old conventional starter and battery combo cycling all day. Still, having an...
  2. Start-stop with Manual Trans.

I also have a 7MT with installed A.S.S. Eliminator. Purchased from Stickerfab for $100. Easy install and fully worth it.
  3. What's your unpopular Bronco opinion?

The shifter boot on the manual transmission is made of a weird neoprene material or something. Would have much preferred it be leather to go with the rest of my leather interior.
  4. The Moment You've All Been Waiting For🙏 FORD BRONCO HARDTOP PROTOTYPE by ADV Fiberglass (Q&A Added)

Way to post a billion Q+A pictures instead of actual, searchable text.
  5. Adding options after purchase?

I vote in favor of ordering as much as you can from the factory. You want to be left with matching up part item numbers, install labor/costs, and programming? Pay more for the convenience of having all that figured out already, with a warranty.
  6. Pedal Monster not removing turbo lag?

My experience with these kinds of pedal/throttle commanders is with the SprintBooster product. Not advertised as power gains but it's power immediacy. Worked wonders in my tuned Saab 9-3 5-speed, so much that I purchased a new SprintBooster for the Bronco before I got my build date. I believe...
  7. Pedal Monster not removing turbo lag?

Pedal poll rate corresponds more to the speed of the throttle body valve opening. Turbos require exhaust flow to operate so adjusting accelerator responsiveness doesn't exactly translate to minimized turbo lag. Although, the faster you suck air into your engine the faster you'd be exhausting fumes.
  8. Spare tire cover or no?

I wish Ford would offer a first-party 33" cover for the BFG KO2s. Or maybe the 32" cover fits and I just don't know it.
  9. Washer sprayer modification - to help with the air flow changes from the Aeroskin 2

Nice, cool workaround. You'll have to report back how long they last throughout the seasons. I also have the Aeroskin 2 deflector but haven't noticed a negative washer spray change. Are these the Scrubblade Platinum wipers? How do you like them?
  10. Pics of your Safari Bar please!!!

    Hey that looks pretty cool!
  11. 7MT - 3rd gear notchiness?

Mechanically, the transmission synchros will behave in the way they're designed and for safe operation. When you say you were travelling on the highway (highway speeds?) what speed are you talking about here when downshifting into second gear? And then further trying to downshift into first...
  12. Aftermarket brands you'll never use again

Cool I'll check em out. I've used Bosch Evolutions primarily in the past. And Rain-X wipers have been fine too, just apparently not their most luxurious offering.
  13. Aftermarket brands you'll never use again

Rain-X Silicone AdvantEdge wipers. I wanted the best of the best so with two 17" blades at $37 each I figured I wouldn't have to replace these for years. Absolute worst windshield wiper I've ever used with completely false advertisement. After letting them cycle 10 times they get caught on the...
  14. The one and only thing that annoys me with my Bronco

Yes this feature is available; off/low/medium/high compensation. It's done fairly well and indistinguishable when active. I have mine set to the medium level. I'll also be in the minority here and say that the B&O system isn't too terrible, and I'm an audiophile. Speed compensation may sound...
  15. Owners of 4d, 2.3L, Sasquatch, Did you regret not upgrading to 2.7

My only requirement was the manual transmission, so the 2.3 is great! It is plenty powerful and I'm not towing anything anyway. I haven't even installed the SprintBooster I've had waiting which I'm sure will liven it up even more.
  16. The one and only thing that annoys me with my Bronco

Nah, on left is best. If it was on the right you'd might as well reach out with that same hand and turn the infotainment knob.
  17. She's finnnnaaalllyyy here!

    C'mon man! Beans in chili.
  18. Forscan vs. 2022 Bronco

I think I read on the forum here somewhere that it's the software version of FORScan itself that matters for 2022 MY Broncos. The latest version v2.3.48 (not Lite) worked for me without issue first try. Since yesterday was the first time trying all this stuff I probably bypassed the issues some...
  19. Forscan vs. 2022 Bronco

Just today I disabled the double honk on my 2022 Badlands. Fortunately I already owned an OBDLink MX bluetooth adapter so I did not need to spend any additional money beyond that. The double honk was pretty much the only thing I needed to adjust via FORScan. You can request a 2 month trial...
  20. CACTUS GRAY Bronco Club

Thanks. The side steps are a secret so far, I haven't seen anyone on this board talk about them. They're the Westin Grate 75" steps, purchased through 4WheelParts. Since I'm not squatched I went with the Original/Long full kit from Rokblokz. Trying to remove the crash bar bolts for the...
