What ever happened to this bronco? Was it revealed?

I think it's usually in the spring and was delayed to the fall due to COVID last year.

It seems like it would be easy enough to remove your colored rings prior to wheeling.

I was just curious...I see a lot of people state, "I'm going to get XYZ part powder coated" on this forum. I rarely see, "I'm going to take this part to my local body shop and get it painted". Was wondering what the tangible benefit was to powder coating (cost, durability, etc.) or if people...

So I get that powder coating might be more durable, or perhaps have a more pleasing sheen, but couldn't I just take my rings to a regular body shop and get them to put a coat of paint on there plus a clear coat that matches my body paint? That seems like it would be cheaper.

For you folks who are wanting to powder coat...Is this something you do yourselves or are you taking it to a body shop that has access to the matching paint for your rig and having them do it? What would something like that cost? I'd really like to paint my SAS rings to match my body color or...

Also in Huntsville and will be looking for some buddies to wheel with. I’ll also be looking to keep it pretty mild in the beginning to learn what I’m doing and not bang up the new truck.

That sounds like it's reservation date related and not "all SAS orders".

I would have thought that most of the Granger folks were the "all-in" crowd. I would think Granger's convert rate would be higher than the national average.

I was just as surprised to hear it as you. He announced it on his channel when he was doing a vehicle round up a few months ago.

Completely agree, and it's exactly what I thought as well. All his other vehicles are auto though (I think), and he usually doesn't make those kind of mistakes. I had completely written it off until I saw the OP.

He's a day 1 pre-order and has some connections though.

You can always wait on the floor liners, keypad and PPF if you need more margin or if you decide you need something else that needs to come from the factory.
