Just a guess here, but after connecting your new light, maybe the system detected an issue with voltage causing a problem with a resistor for one of the LED lights. I’m not even sure if the Bronco lighting uses resistors for the LEDs or if it’s all controlled thru modules.

Do a search here on forum “Installing OEM Fogs” you should find a number of posts for this. I tried to attach a post but I’m not computer literate and it didn’t work.

Had same problem….used shrink tape on plastic pins, put 1/4 foam adhesive where plastic pins go in holes. Worked for about the first 10 seconds. What finally fixed that noise for me on both my 21 and my 23 was to remove the metal pin on inside front corner of front pieces, add a flat washer...

A reduced cost or free replacement MIC top that won’t crack or delaminate for those of us out of warranty!!

I had a a ‘21 Cyber Orange and compared it to an Orange fury…..in my opinion they are very very similar, but I feel the Orange Fury is just slightly more Orange than Cyber. They are very very similar. Here’s a couple comp pics, one of these is a member here on the forum

I had the Atak on my 2.7 and it was definitely not too loud. It does make it louder than stock but my opinion is it no way too loud for everyday use. Go to Borlas website and you can watch comparison vids of all their muffler options on the broncos as well as stock. Honestly, it’s only louder on...

Don’t mean for this to come across wrong, but have you checked battery voltage with engine and accessories off? I think you want a minimum of 12.6 v (somebody please correct me if I’m wrong) maybe the issue?

For sure, I hope not either, but those of us that didn’t have that option with problem MICs are getting short end of stick if/when the top fails again outside of warranty.

Welcome to the “Club”. I too would think by now they would be replacing them with the mod or painted top, but still only doing MIC for MIC.

Have you looked into bronze colored wheels? I think they look pretty good on Red vehicles.

Mine was making some sound too…. I found mine to be where the upper seat belt bolt goes thru shoulder bracket had too much play in it, as well as the little cover. Wrapped the bolt a couple times with felt tape and put a layer on backside of cover…..that fixed my noise.

Been cracked for awhile it looks like. Again I think the MIC crack problem is much wider spread than we know because I feel many owners haven’t even looked at the top of the MIC. Drive it thru a car wash and never even looked.

The box says it has hole for camera, does the cover just not slip over camera? Never heard of needing to remove camera for spare tire cover….im guessing the beauty cover it says to remove is not applicable on the North American Broncos. Looking at the box, picture of vehicle on it and the...

Maybe there was a small impact chip at the top edge that happened sometime ago without your knowledge or noticing and the cold temps just made it run??
