  1. Non saggy Paracord handles?

+1 for the non-paracord Bartact handles. I bought these ones and couldn’t be happier. Here’s a post from my thread with a couple pics and some more info: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-2023-shadow-black-base-experience.63687/post-1946928
  2. GPPBronco

    Michigan Bronco Club

Headed out with my sons for our first trip to Holly Oaks on Saturday. This will be the shakedown run for me (as a novice with more experience driving snowmobiles/SxS), AND our 2023 Bronco Base non-sas! We’re going to need a flag since the one we ordered won’t be here until next week. But other...
  3. ADV vs OEM Hardtop Comparison

I can see the similarities between the ADV and the angle of the rear window on the original. And, I wasn’t aware ADV asked the community to select a style during pre-production, which I applaud. Maybe it is just the 4-door proportions that make it look gross. Seems like the side windows in the...
  4. ADV vs OEM Hardtop Comparison

That’s fine. You can put me down as a -1 for the 2 door version too. My money will be going to whichever company designs an aftermarket soft or hard top without the angled rear fastback window. Anybody else think those look dumb? Feels like so many of the aftermarket accessories should just...
  5. Aftermarket grab handles

I’d love to see some made out of wood.
  6. Anyone else feel this way? Grab handle woes

Bartact Colored Grab Handles (in brown). Look nice, feel good in-hand, and can be tucked between halo bar and top panels if they annoy you while driving.
  7. The 2023 Shadow Black Base Experience

Installed the Bartact Color Grab Handles (in brown) and they look/feel nice. Hang down a comfortable distance to easily access when entering the Bronco, and feel substantial in-hand. Some have said these strap-style handles hang into the front seat peripheral vision to the point of annoyance...
  8. Replacement horn - part number # ?

Appreciate the tip. Will definitely check it out with the dealer when I’m back there for an oil change. Everybody was fine in the crash. Ford Focus blew a red light and I hit their front passenger quarter panel. Really thankful it wasn’t in the driver’s door, as the height of the bronco bumper...
  9. Replacement horn - part number # ?

I was in a front, passenger side collision in February and just got my Bronco back a couple weeks ago. I noticed the difference in the horn sound immediately. Made me wonder if the horn was damaged but not repaired. Based upon what I’m seeing here, it may just be that Ford’s bean counters think...
  10. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Drove home and gave it a hand wash. Was DUSTY after a weekend of Mid-Michigan’s farm trails and seasonal roads. I was stoked to pick it up on Friday after waiting months for repairs from a crash in February.
  11. The 2023 Shadow Black Base Experience

Back in business. 🙌 On Thursday I got the call that the Bronco was ready and made arrangements to pick it up Friday afternoon. Spent the weekend visiting family in Mid-Michigan and traversing dusty and rutted farm trails and seasonal roads. No pics because it’s so dang hard to remember to do...
  12. Build quality absolute garbage (Closed due to insults)

💯 Don’t know about you all, but I’ve seen mouth-breathers pretty much everywhere I’ve ever been. It gets more insidious when the mouth-breathing is happening in the C-Suite because then you know it’s institutionalized vs. a problem with training, morale, etc. Like most companies during COVID...
  13. 2023MY ch-ch-changes: No more cloth! Bash plates removed from lower trims!

Get used to it. Ford somehow got the alchemy right on the bronco in spite of their ineptness on pretty much everything else (including manufacture, quality control, delivery, dealer honesty, etc). It’s gross and feels weird to be pumping money into a company that’s so clearly off the rails, but...
  14. 2023MY ch-ch-changes: No more cloth! Bash plates removed from lower trims!

Yeah. But what about those of us who got a plastic skid with the mod bumper already (December 2022 build) but weren’t told and had to discover this ourselves? Do we just swallow the bitter pill? Sorta feel like I paid for the metal skid (it’s listed specifically on my window sticker) and ford...
  15. Is it worth it? Are they safe enough?

I was in a crash in February when another driver blew a red light and I hit their front driver side quarter panel going 30mph. The Bronco kept me safe (airbags deployed). However, I’m still waiting to get it back from the body shop. The repairs were complete six weeks ago, but the damn thing...
  16. Fragile electronic junk? Post-crash error codes issue

Not harsh, but the math doesn’t really work. Not sure there’s a strong trade-in value for a five month old vehicle with inoperable restraint systems. And I’m not looking to take a loss and trade in for a 4-door big bend.
  17. Fragile electronic junk? Post-crash error codes issue

Appreciate the replies. I trust this dealer and my dad retired from there so it’s a little awkward to take it elsewhere. Also, not sure how it works with my insurance since I have a check from them already made out to the dealer doing the repairs.
