The first article makes no mention of Bronco, and the second is nothing more than speculation based on what Ford told dealers at NADA. It’s no different than someone saying… 1. I like ice cream 2. Ice cream makes me cold. 3. Obviously I like being cold. Number 3 cannot be assumed from 1 & 2...

That is fine, but your thread title says “Ford will ship Broncos without chips” and you have no proof that is true. Here is a link verified that Ford Will start shipping Explorers with missing functionality...

You might get into an accident because people in the rear seats of your Explorer cannot adjust the vehicle temperature?

The title of this thread is misleading. Unless the OP has a link that mentions Bronco, I have not seen any reference specific to Bronco for this.

No way. Freep.com story mentions removal of rear seat hvac controls on Explorers…still controllable by front controls.

I fully support this. Would have been nice to hear what types of functionality will be delayed though.

I don't understand how anyone can think that the exhaust on a 2.7L engine is going to ever sound like anything more than a fart-can on a Honda...much less "good".

So Ford spec'd the tops to not color match between panels, to have some edges finished and others not, and to delaminate? Webasto screwed the pooch on this.
