Anyone catch the Motor 1 article claiming Bronco production won't start until Dec 7th?
https://www.motor1.com/news/397868/ford-insider-reveals-mustang-f-150-bronco/
I guess I knew I'd have to wait until 2021, but the optimist in me kept hoping for availability late this year.
Just as long as...
That's what I liked about the manual version... it essentially gave you the ability on the fly to decide if you wanted to shut down. If you knew you were only stopping for a few seconds, just hold the clutch. If it was going to take longer, pop it out of gear.
That being said, one of my past...
Sooo many good ideas! All I know is I'll know it when I see it.
I'm thinking something retro two tone, probably with a blue base.
That said, I always liked the colors of the Gas Monkey Bronco from a few years back.
While I'm here... Any ever drive a Start/Stop manual?
We had a rental in the UK a few years ago. A Renault Grand Picasso (reminded me of the Tartan Prancer from the 2015 Vacation movie).
As I recall, it only stopped if you put the clutch in and took it out of gear. We'd been driving for a...
Late to the party, but I don't care if too much if it's package or a la carte, but what Ford needs to do is let you pick your priorities.
I hate having to make a 1/2 dozen selections in the "build your own" option to find out manual transmission isn't available. Too many websites are so...
I gave it some thought at the Detroit Auto Show last year... Just two doors to many.
If they'd made it an extended cab like the concept, I might not be waiting on a Bronco.
Oh who am I kidding? I've been waiting on this Bronco for decades and I have Fiat issues.
I can't picture a need for another full size SUV without Ford cannibalizing sales of the Explorer or Expedition. If Ford controlled more market share, then yes, but current volumes don't make much sense to me.
I still think the Shorty Raptor was the test mule for the emoji. ;)
Excited and concerned at the same time.
I REALLY want a 2 door, but I was hoping for a few more inches over the Wrangler. 100" seemed like a good number. Can't tell where this sits relative to the JK, so who knows.
If it's just the same as a JK, I won't feel so bad when Ford disappoints me...
My wife won't drive manual... which is fine by me. I never have to adjust my seat or mirrors!
But we could be a two Bronco family. We're waiting on the Lincoln Corsair Hybrid as a potential replacement for her C-Max, but she's liked what she's seen of the Baby Bronco, so... I'm thinking...
I hope you're wrong. I'd much prefer something like Scout or Maverick.
Just about every model car offers a "Sport" edition. It's usually just a stripped down model with special edition wheels, fog lights, a VHB taped on rear wing and maybe a stereo upgrade... Please no Bronco Sport!
And...
What's to copy... Cybertruck is just a truck version of the 1970's Citicar with some Amazon LED strip lighting. I'd say Elon phoned that design in, but it's more like faxed it in.
Ditch the over-flared fenders and the Moaoun design is not too bad. I'd like to see a less Raptor-like version of it.
I do like the step feature just ahead of the rear tires. Seems like it could serve as a quick climb into the back with top off.
If this was it, I would probably pass on it. Looks more like an IH Scout than a Bronco. Maybe if Ford releases this as the Bronco Scout along with the Bronco and Bronco Maverick.
I'm thinking this would be more for providing rollbar options than just going without one. I think this will give individuals the option to stick with a factory hydroformed design or switch to some aftermarket tube options. I believe Ford also had the patent of a rollbar with integrated roll...
You may have missed the point of my post. I wasn't picking on Fiat Jeep, but pointing out that to be successful against Fiat Jeep they will have to make it easy to mod... and cash in on the aftermarket business.
I was looking for something like Build Radically OptioNed Cash Only. ...But I got...
I really like the Rivian, but I'd like to know how much the range drops off when off road.
It's not an off road vehicle, but a favorite video of mine is TFLTruck off roading a Tesla X. As I recall they claimed their range dropped off nearly as much as when towing with it, which I believe was...
