Got the 74Weld Stage 1 kit installed along with the Icon XD Tie Rods. Took about 5 hours and I also got an alignment done.
The stock steering rack end cap is kind of laughable next to the 74Weld. It's so thin that after seeing it, I am glad I upgraded it. The Icon Tie Rods are a lot beefier...
I left the main reddit sub a while back because it's nothing but 'rules' posts flooding that place non-stop.
I assume it's people just driving around all day until they see another Bronco parked then they pull in, jump out, snap a photo and post it on reddit for karma chasing purposes..
You...
The only downside to it is that it is thick and bulky.. There is another option called Broncover, that is twice the price, that packs down smaller. For half the price, I went with the Rain Gear Cover.
Here is mine on my 2dr
I use a www.Broncobikini.com on mine. I live in the PNW where it rains quite a bit but I still roll several months of the year with my hard top off and in storage. The bikini is canvas and will keep most rain out when driving. If I need to park for an extended period of time in the rain then I...
What rules? I've seen these rules type posts plastered/flooded all over the Bronco reddit areas. I think it's a reddit thing as I don't really see it posted much on normal Bronco forums.
Do people just drive around looking for other Broncos to park next to?
I honestly do not know.. While I have used it overnight on my camping trips, my use is mainly to keep overnight dew and critters out. It's heavy duty and my guess is that it would be fine.
Yeah the Broncover is ridiculously priced IMO.. The Bronco Tax is in full gear there..
The only downside...
About $65 a month through USAA. I have $500 deductibles and a lot of add-on's because why not if it's this cheap. 58 y/o, single, high credit score, no accidents or tickets in last 20+ years.
Here is everything I bring on my off-road and camping trips. It all fits into my topless 2dr.

When I went in the military in 1983 there were still plenty of Jeep M151's in service..
I am going to say it because it was my 1st experience with an off-road vehicle and it was a blast to drive.. It was also the 1st manual transmission I had ever driven and what I learned on.
You can't be serious? The burden of proof is on the manufacturer who is denying the warranty claim..
Please don't post false information as it's not helpful to others.
Again, this is false!
A manufacturer can't void your vehicle warranty just because you made a modification. The burden of proof that the modification caused the failure is on them.
If you upgrade your seats they can't void your powertrain warranty.
Please stop posting incorrect information.
I have a folder where I keep all records and receipts for anything and everything done on the Bronco. This includes maintenance, parts purchases, installed upgrades etc.
If you do that, then I don't think actual dealer records hold any more value than they do.
Yes a car fridge will run off the 12V Bronco port. The rear 12V only stays powered on for like 1 hour after the Bronco is shut off. I believe you can change that via Forscan though.
I've not seen this level of disrespect for the land and environment on other forums. I think it's a generational thing, a maturity level thing and I am also starting to think it's a Bronco thing..
Posts like these are made every so often in Jeep Forums, Overlanding Forums and other 4x4 forums...
