  1. What’s the best trip you’ve taken in your Bronco so far?

2025 solo 5,000 mile round trip MN to AZ. Highlights were Utah - Canyonlands Schafer trail switchbacks and Grand Staircase-Escalante Burr trail switchbacks. 2024 with my kids Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. This summer will be round trip MN to Montana - Glacier NP, Beartooth Highway.
  2. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

What I understand, the D+ cable should be hooked up to a switched (ignition on) fuse under the driver dash (using a multimeter to find a fuse). I'll be using a fuse-tap, a single 18awg wire run to the top pin on the charger 2 connector. The negative pin is not needed since the charger 2 D+...
  3. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

I decided to go to my passenger side because that's where I have my fridge and battery mounted. I want to do a passenger side molle in the window for the charger 2 but the cable is about a foot short. Thanks.
  4. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

Has anyone used the D+ signal cable with the charger 2? Which fuse did you tap into under the dash fuse box? Thanks
  5. Bronco newbie must have mods for mpg and wind sound

Get out and push. Turn the radio volume up.
  6. Local Dealership, Desperate to sell their Stroppe?

I do like that color though, and in favor of flat/matte. I love my eruption green in the shade when the sun isn't shining on it.
  7. The dumbest ish you have done in your Bronco.

I had a Bronco Sport before my current Bronco. I always go to the self serve car wash, with the hand wand. Went around washing it up, got in to get more quarters... "why the hell is everything all wet inside"!? I forgot to put up the passenger window.
  8. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

Has anyone needed to add extensions onto the Charger 2 battery cables? At 16' it's about 1-2 feet shorter than I'd like. Would there be any issues if I added on about 2 feet of extension (6AWG)? Would hate to start a fire or melt something.
  9. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

Thanks so much. I did find those two large grommets on either side. That is my biggest fear, nicking the wire bundle. I see you have a 4dr. The charger 2 battery cables reached to your rear cargo area? I do some rough measuring and seems the 16' cable barely reaches in my 2dr.
  10. Bronco Off Grid Power Setup with Bluetti Charger 2 (w/ Bidirectional Charging)

Couple questions please: 1) For those with 7mt, how did you run the cables from the battery through the firewall? The 7mt doesn't have that extra grommet like the auto's. Or do I dare drill a hole through the firewall? 2) Has anyone needed an extension for that battery cable to the Charger 2...
  11. Charging voltage high 15 on average. Need cold weather feedback (Minnesota) Battery already replaced.

I'm in the Elk River area and I think we got a few inches of snow, wasn't a lot, in my opinion. Storms seem to go north and south of the Twin Cities, the brunt of it.
  12. Charging voltage high 15 on average. Need cold weather feedback (Minnesota) Battery already replaced.

Had a few warmer days here in MN. My voltage has dropped down, I've seen 12.9-14.9. Granted my battery and alternator (2nd ones), are only about 8 months old. I do see fluctuations as I'm driving, letting off gas, giving it gas, manual shifting, seems to level off in the 13's.
  13. Bronco camping setups - what's yours?

Slept inside once, was too windy to set up the ground tent. Air mattress and blankets. Now I have an FSR Aspen Lite RTT. Also have a cargo trailer diy camping setup with RTT, for extra people.
  14. If you had to pick ONE lighting mod to recommend… what’s the move?

Ditch lights and bumper pocket lights, all at once. I also added ditch lights to the top corners of the bumper. Became a priority after I hit a dear.
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

That That's what I figured, thanks. Stuck with my 22 cluster I guess.
  16. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

How or where can I get that instrument cluster please?
  17. 2022 2 DR Base manual reliability

2022 BD 2.3 7mt with 93k miles, 2nd transmission. Replaced first transmission at 37k for the "rock tumbling" noises under warranty/tsb. Noise was very noticeable, sometimes even in the summer. 56k on the second transmission, there is some noise in the cold, not enough for me to bring it in...
  18. Most Bang-for-Your-Buck Off-Road Mods?

For me it was the DD and Rigid lights. Light up the ditches and road so I don't hit a deer, again. I do like my FSR Aspen Lite RTT, Setpower fridge, and Bluetti AC180. Edit: Have to add, my DIY cargo trailer for camping gear and RTT on top of it.
  19. Trailer brake controller….needed????

22 Black Diamond 7mt non-Sas, 2-door. I pull a DIY camping trailer, 1200lbs loaded with gear and a RTT on it. I went with the dealer installed OEM harness and brake controller. My trailer does not have brakes and I don't plan on pulling a trailer with brakes. As someone mentioned earlier...
  20. On Top of Dash Control Push Buttons

On my 22 Black Diamond 7mt non-SAS - rear locker, traction control, hazards. No TTA on manual.
