I've never had bikes myself, but a good buddy of mine rides a 1299 and a Streetfighter. That 1299 is one of the most beautiful things on wheels I have ever seen. He rides it, and rides it like a lunatic, but you'd never guess by how clean he keeps it. Clay bars the hell out of it.

You know what feature is not overrated? Trail Turn Assist. Up here in the mountain trails, I am Austin Powers-ing even my two door constantly. I'll be using the crap out of that feature. Shame it isn't on the manual though. As a future former stick driver myself, I say you deserve better.
