One of the reasons manufactures typically keep cars covered up and don’t make a huge deal out of preproduction models is many of them have features that will never make it into production, have mismatched stuff and options on them, and can look substantially better... or substantially worse than...
Unless it’s a QC disaster, in the same territory as FJC or Wranglers. Probably even higher if Ford starts killing off fun cars and making hybrids and EVs if new industry emissions standards are forced on them.
If they push my reservation to 2022MY or my reservation dealer tries to play games with the build and price I’m dropping my reservation and waiting for the Hog.
Seems Ford is oblivious or doesn’t care what some dealers are doing.
I have a 2 liter four-cylinder Macan.
It makes 252 hp and 273 torque. It has a PDK.
It is aerodynamic and has fat on road Scorpion tires. Under the best conditions it gets about 24 miles per gallon.
There is no way in HELL that the four-cylinder Bronco 2 door is going to get anything better...
Mostly because those models underestimate the efficiency and energy consumption of their flight muscles and the figure of eight pattern they cycle through to hover and loiter.
