  1. Connecticut ON HOLD- Set of 5 standard Badlands wheels and tires including TPMS sensors

Ugh 11 hour drive, wish you were closer to me…been looking for a set of these and you have them priced right! GLWS.
  2. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Spent the day doing paint correction (not sure what the dealer washed it with during PDI but it was quite scratched), then applied pre-cut film to the hood, bottom of doors, door sills and roll bars, followed by ceramic coating the entire thing. Turned out pretty nice.
  3. Who hates their 10spd besides me?

2.3L auto in ours… when we first picked it up from the dealer (with only 20 miles on it) the shifts were quite rough. I recall commenting about it to my wife during our initial drive. I was driving it again last night (now has ~ 700 miles on it) and it is much smoother. Pretty happy with the...
  4. First oil change and didn't spill a drop

On my 2.3L engine the issue wasn’t the oil pan drain plug, it was the removal of the oil filter that resulted in a rather large mess on a bunch of surrounding components, and the floor. The drip tray that Ford added below the filter was not real useful. All those oil-soaked components won’t...
  5. Michigan Assembly (Bronco) Plant Manager Out as of Thursday July 14

Maybe he got caught in the back of someones Bronco, on dirt mountain, doing “product evaluations” with the secretary. Have to relieve all that stress somehow! 5 pages and no one wanted to speculate on this theory…disappointed in you guys!
  6. Slight jolt when letting off brakes during take off / Auto transmission

There has to be some place in the drive line to deal with the fore/aft movement of the driveshaft as the rear axle wraps up. Mine is in the middle, but doesn’t appear serviceable.
  7. Slight jolt when letting off brakes during take off / Auto transmission

It’s most likely the slip yoke in the driveshaft that is sticking. Have your dealership lubricant the splines with the Ford PTFE lubricant.
  8. Michigan Assembly (Bronco) Plant Manager Out as of Thursday July 14

It takes an entire team of qualified, hard-working people to keep one of those Vehicle Operations plants running in normal times. Throw a pandemic and all the global supply chain challenges over the last couple of years in the mix and you have a recipe for the most stressful job you could ever...
  9. Is ICON the only maker of hub centric 93.1 wheels?

That machined flange shown on the rim in your photo should be a slip fit to the hub on the vehicle. When you install the wheel, it self-centers on the hub by design. If these were lug-centric that wouldnt happen, you would need to install and tighten the lug nuts to get it to center. You can...
  10. first 1000 mile factory oil change? worth it?

A few reasons: there is always additional contamination from break-in, internal parts all have a cleanliness spec (some level of contamination is allowed) so that first change gives an opportunity to flush out anything that is in the oil or laying in the bottom of the pan. I also cut open my oil...
  11. first 1000 mile factory oil change? worth it?

I build engines for a living; I always do my first oil change early. You will get many other answers ranging from ‘you waited too long’ to ‘don’t touch it until the Ford oil life monitor says so’.
  12. What’s your Waiting Time

4/11 is what shows up on the Ford tracking site as the order confirmation date. The dealer may have ordered it prior to that I suppose?
  13. What’s your Waiting Time

Black Diamond 4 door, soft top, 2.3, mid pkg, keyless entry, black alum wheels, floor mats. Dealer ordered 4/11/22, built 6/18, shipped 6/28. Picking it up Monday.
  14. Big Bend at fireworks

Sounds like something I would have done as well…while listening to my wife scream at me that I’m going to wreck her new ride! 😂
  15. 👓 6/13/2022 Build Week Group 👓

Ours was delivered yesterday at 4am via Cassens Transport. Met with the salesman last night to go for a test drive and finalize everything. Picking it up Monday morning. Wife is one happy lady.
  16. 👓 6/13/2022 Build Week Group 👓

The transport situation must be a mess; I’m still waiting (almost 2 weeks now) for Cassens to pick mine up from MAP. I see on their FB page they are looking for drivers in many states, They must be behind schedule for deliveries…or my Bronco is lost in the back row somewhere ☹️
  17. Transmission Fluid Additive

It doesn’t need an additive IMO, but no one ever seems to be interested in changing their trans fluid until they get a lot of miles on their vehicle and start to have shift issues, and by then it’s usually too late. Follow the severe duty schedule in your owners manual. I highly recommend...
  18. 👓 6/13/2022 Build Week Group 👓

Ford knocked it out of the park and built mine on the exact day they said they would…now I wait for Cassens (the Canadian convoy shipper) to bring it across the border, an hour away to my dealer. It’s been sitting at the plant awaiting shipping for a week, I can see it in Cassens online system...
  19. Devastated...2yr old reservation, total loss from hail storm right before delivery

I read about your vehicle being damaged from hail during delivery; sorry to hear, it was so close to being delivered. Be polite, but keep pushing your dealer to go to bat and get a zone rep involved. They can get you another order filled under a priority 1 status. You won’t have to wait very...
  20. Built But Sitting in a Lot

I believe the two options that show up in the tracker would be ‘in production’ followed by ‘awaiting shipment’. If your vehicle is on hold I don’t believe it states that (someone correct me if I’m wrong).
