It seems like most dealerships are more than willing to work with you as long as you have A) established a relationship, B) not been an a-hole, this is not their fault or C) have been patient with any communication. Funny how that works. Most horror stories I have heard have come from people...
My ETA to Gibson kept getting delayed at every stop from MAP. It was only supposed to take two days, but it was over a week.
Once you transfer onto BNSF out of Gibson, you'll notice that the progress will speed up and be there within a few days. Once out of Gibson, reaching Houston took a...
Ugh, I have not been able to pickup my Bronco yet. My brother is buying my car for his son, and I’m using that for a down payment. However, he is dragging getting his financing in order.
✅ Bronco in
✅ Purchase price agreement
✅ Financing complete
❌ Sell current car for down payment
❌ Take...
UPDATE to the UPDATE: I received the price I wanted from my MY23 DORA, less the model year transition private offer. I knew the destination charge from MY22 to MY23 (+$100) would not be price protected, but I was unaware that the destination charge has gone up another $300 since I placed my...
I took the dealer quote home and realized that our numbers were off by $521 from each other. The Private Offer is included in the pricing, so we are off on the price protection. I nicely texted the dealer to help explain how my numbers differ from theirs, and hopefully, we can come to a...

Also looking to get mud...
It takes a while to populate. Calling the CSX number will give faster updates than what the dealer can tell you on the computer. The only reason I know that is because I had called CSX before the dealer called me and looked it up in his computer and he was a checkpoint behind.
It wasn’t from a lack of trying. Couldn’t find any cams in Texas that were on my route. I did think about seeing it go by last night on its way in, but it would have been so late. I know, I failed! 😩
My Bronco ended its rail journey this morning and arrived at the BNSF Rail Yard in south Houston at 3:40am. Now the wait for it to be unloaded and put on a convoy to the dealership.
I was able to track it using the CSX number the entire way. Once my Bronco made the switch to BNSF in Indiana...
My transport rail has been speeding along since getting out of the Midwest. Yesterday, it went through Kansas and Oklahoma. I couldn't read the rail car numbers at night in OKC.
This morning it arrived at the Alliance Intermodal Facility near Ft Worth/Dallas, TX. Hopefully, it doesn't stop...
