Hi. Long story short, somebody pulled out in front of me at an intersection and caused about $15k worth of damage on my three-week-old ā23 Bronco Base. That was in early February and here we are in mid-May and I still donāt have my Bronco back.
by early April, the body shop/service department...
Mine is currently being repaired after a passenger side front collision with a red-light-runner. All repairs have been made but now the dealer/body shop/service department is in a death spiral with Ford trying to figure out the error codes happening. They have replaced two different modules so...
Related topic (and please excuse the thread bump): wondering if anyone who has powder coated their base/BD steelies has had issues with the coating getting all the way into the seam between wheel pieces. My dealer offered to coat mine after they accidentally scratched them swapping out the...
Yeah, theyāre very close in height. I wish there were a few A/T options in the 255/85 size because I love the tall skinny look but mud tires are waaaay overkill for most driving I do. This is the first set of M/T Iāve had on a vehicle. Depending on how it goes with this set, I might opt for some...
My dealer (who I trust because my dad managed the dealership for decades until he retired a few years back) submitted as a misbuild claim but was told by Ford that itās actually not a misbuild because all future base broncos optioned with the mod bumper will be getting a plastic skid. So, Ford...
I have been saying the same thing. The base on 30s doesnāt look as wimpy in person, especially on a 2 door. Itās just the tread that feels a little weak. I did swap some skinny 33s and it feels like a sweet spot.
I went with GoRhino RB20 Slimline steps. Feel substantial, sturdy and a great...
Yeah, I think thatās pretty far past the cutoff for actually getting it with the sub installed. But hey. At least Ford was up front about this one. Look up the issues with the metal front skid plates that were supposed to come with the optional modular bumper for 2023. I paid for the metal skid...
Talked to body shop today. Bronco all put together.
Something I havenāt seen discussed on B6G is the paint on the base steelies. Very thin. When I had the new 33ā tires installed (same day as purchase), the service department marred up the wheels in some usual places (around wheel weights) but...
I think the next question is whether there is a 7G Bronco immediately after the 6G. Once the āoverlandingā craze wanes, a decent chunk of the market will no longer be interested. And, if ford canāt get their quality and supply issues figured out, people like us will have to consider Jeep, Scout...
Any updates on this setup? Seriously considering one of these as spring/summer approaches, for weekend trips with my family (wife, 2 kids) in our 2-door.
I have 255/85r16 (33ā) tires installed on base rims and wondering if you think it would be possible to shoehorn one of these carriers on...
Go Rhino RB20 Slim steps on my 2 door base. Poke on these and the fender flares is just about the same. Enough width for me to step in with my foot at a natural angle. And my boys use them to clamber up and step OVER the sill plate into the back seat.
Thought Iād add some more perspective here. The RB20 slims are wide enough to step up, placing your foot at a natural/comfortable angle when entering. Has been easy for my sons to use them for climbing into the back seat as well.
@mikey_photo did you end up figuring out a solution for raising...
