I have been sold on AMB all along. Saw a 4 door in AMB at a local dealer event. Itās was a lightly cloudy day. Itās definitely dark but when the sun comes out the blue in it really comes out. Confirmed the color for me and it looked good with the black soft top.
So can we speculate/expect that once Ford goes through the first two weeks of its next build scheduling cycle (FEs and then others) they would be in a position to send out the communications to everyone else who doesnāt already have a build date? That would put us in the the 3d or 4th week of...
So you havenāt had a driving with the top off experience - youāre gonna love it - especially when the doors are off too. It is my favorite way to drive and I generally donāt care how hot it is. To your questions:
1 - you will learn fast to just not keep lose stuff in the truck. Someone...
Thanks and I agree. I have owned three Jeeps and ordered the Bronco for the sole purpose of getting the ride and open air feel of the Jeep - but with some of the Wrangler issues corrected (mainly the death wobble). If I want more comfort driving we will use my wifeās vehicle. Even without...
As long as Ford builds these well I am targeting at least 10 years - into retirement. I am work from home now so mileage will be kept low and it will be used mainly for trips to the OBX for my wife and I.
So week 2 of orders passed and I didnāt get an email. Disappointed but then I wake up and see this for the morning. Soon me wife and I will be able to drive our OBX Bronco down to the OBX.
Zach - Thanks for helpful, transparent and detailed info. I do lot have an order with you but find your posts helpful as the info can be translated to other dealer situations. Good luck with all your orders.
Was at the Garnet Ford showing as well. I was impressed. Loved the AMB. Itās what I ordered and am not pleased I got see it in person. Looking forward to getting mine. Sorry didnāt take any photos of the Badlands.
I have driven Jeeps with the doors off plenty (and I live in PA without anyone ever pulling me over). I love driving with the doors off and do so as much as weather allows (rain). The heat doesnāt bother me in summer - still prefer open air and I drive plenty on highways. The Bronco frameless...
First Bronco. But not first Ford. Have owned 3 Jeeps (CJ and Wranglers) and want something different. Driving with roof down and doors off is one of my favorite things to do.
I was having the same debate with similar builds (except mine is a 4Dr). I struggled over the price difference but actually viewed in the other direction. I saw the low difference between the BB and OBX as favorable to the OBX as the things that came with that were worth the extra $$. So was...
So I spoke with my dealer this morning. Confirmed that my order remains within Fordās allocation for them so they feel I should be a MY21 and just have to wait for my turn. š I am. 7/19 reserve date - OBX with a soft top and 2.7L.
The dealer did say that the Order Banks refresh everyThursday...
My guess is (especially during the first couple of years of production when there really wonāt be many Broncos on the road yet) I will likely just point to the other Bronco driver as an acknowledgement. If the window or down or door off it will be out the side of the truck. In time as Broncos...
Going with 4 door - we have dogs that go on vacation with us. I am betting the values in relation to purchase price will track like the wranglers. There will always be a gap between 2 and 4 doors but retained value percentages are likely similar. All depends on whether Ford gets these right...
I was originally getting a BB but moved up to the OBX - AMB with the soft top. Canāt wait for it to get here.
Get want you want and enjoy the ride - every other Bronco driver out there will acknowledge you on the road so enjoy.
OBX 4 Door. Will be my ādaily driverā but since my job shifted to remote status after I reserved the Bronco it has a new meaning for me. I expect to keep the mileage pretty low so I am planning to have this for a long time. Had a restored CJ7 that I already sold.
I had a restored ā86 CJ7 with a modified 350 in it. That this was a blast to drive (sold it to help pay for my Bronco). So a V8 in a Jeep can be fun. But I also had an Unlimited that developed a bad wobble problem that couldnāt be fixed and when it happened at highway speed - Yikes! I canāt...
