I really considered cutting the grille and seeing if a frame chop would help but at the end of the day like others have said there is to much upfront to really gain much.
I built my bumper to keep the winch high and close to the grille while keeping the rest of the bumper tucked super close to...
Added some LOD frame stiffeners today for some extra insurance winching. These were a case of cheaper to buy then build.

i will try to grab some camera pictures as is. It’s better with the relocate for sure.
I will leave the skid for now. Going to pick up a full set at some point to cover the transmission and will get front at that point.
I do like the extra protection the skid offer for the CVs and steering though.
I saw your post and work 1 day after ordering the mount from JCR. I also ordered the cable you used and a washer hose extension.
