That is true. I have that in mine but once in a while I hit it with my knee when step is down. It then remains down until I stop and open my door and realize I’ve been driving around with it extended. Need some kind of warning.

  6. Broaddict trail deck installed

They knew it wouldn't fit with the pre-existing tailgate table. No it may not have but they knew that it wouldn’t fit and they had to redesign the table.
  8. Bronco Owners, Let’s Talk TrailDeck Slide Out Tailgate Drawer & Tailgate Tables!

Actually there was quite a discussion about the lack of fitment for the Traildeck and the then existing Broaddict tailgate table. I kept asking why they would create a new product that made an existing product non-viable and force you to replace a perfectly good product just for it to fit the...

  16. How do you stay cool camping in Texas summer

I was raised at the southern tip of Texas, on the border of medico and 10 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Heat and humidity were crazy but didn’t bother me when I was young. I’m now 73+ and living in Austin. Getting ready to start doing some traveling and camping. It’s already in the 90’s with...
  17. Roof Rack Woes....any product recommendations?

I would say that the Gobi rack is fantastic as far as sturdiness but you would have to replace all your accessories brackets with theirs and they’re not cheap but customer service is great. I almost lost my Openroad4wd tent 3 times, tightening the Openroad4wd brackets as tight as I could get...
  18. (My) Auxiliary Reverse Light Solution.. $44

So I put in a pair of lights on my roof rack and connected them to my switches. That way I can turn them on when I need them for backing up, using them in camp or using them offroad. And they stay off when I don’t need them.
