    It looks like the plastic well protrudes through the floor pan. Did you seal the opening in the floor before bolting everything back into place. I’ve heard of moisture problems and wonder if sealing the area will alleviate them.

    Not that I’d do it but I’d leave the hose connected to the valve and just disconnect the bottom and cap the air box connection. This way the hose would act as a buffer to keep water, dirt and debris away from the blowoff valve.

  17. Normal for A/C going "idle" with engine start/stop function?

    The Gladiator does the same thing unless the fan is on low speed. If the fan is running full bore it shuts the AC down.
