Iām getting back from a work trip this evening, and will be stopping by my dealership tomorrow hoping for good news, whether that be a priority build slot for 2022, or an airbag recall solution. Either way, something needs to done because this has been absurd, especially for being in the dark...
I guess you could say Iām lucky enough to get all the worst possible news š yep, bronco has been sitting at the dealership since 11/16 and Iāve gotten to sit in it, start it and smell that ānew car scentā but canāt drive it. The best part of this whole airbag fiasco is that a good handful of...
As an early day 1 reservation holder (approx 9pm est to be exact) itās been total bullshit thus far. Got my āhighest priority possibleā order placed 1/21/21 with order number 0003, first build date of 6/28, pushed back 6 weeks for whatever reason. Blend date for 8/11, Parked at dirt mountain...
Iād like to think that your dealer having a meeting with ford corporate today will change anything, but at this point Iāve completely lost hope, almost to the point of ordering another 2 door badlands as a 2022 model. Plus that way I could choose eruption green as my color instead of A51...
Or the fact that they even shipped them with faulty airbags in the first place... If they have to go back to MAP for the fix, why even ship them to dealerships. All it did was piss us off even more. I'd be less pissed if I couldn't put my hands on my bronco, instead of driving past it every day...
I understand you're working this airbag recall fiasco, would it be possible to post your findings in here https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-held-at-dealership-for-airbag.26674/ we have a dedicated thread for those of us lucky enough to get bad tops, multiple build dates and now...
It's pretty pathetic that we'll be receiving 2021 broncos that were built 6-8 months ago, after hundreds, if not thousands of 2022 broncos will have been delivered...
Talking so supervisors and managers, I asked every one of them why it is that over 15,000 broncos have been built, delivered, AND purchased by customers since Oct. 4th when the recall came out. And they all said "we'll we can't speak for those broncos, we can only speak for your bronco." And...
Make that 26 held at dealerships... My 2 door badlands was originally scheduled for 6/28, and got magically pushed back to 8/11... It was finally delivered to the dealer on 11/16, but with the faulty airbag... I've called ford 2x a week for the last 3 weeks and nobodys given me a legit answer...
Anyone got new information about this airbag recall that was issued 2 months ago yet still hasn't been addressed? I'm attempting to call FoMoCo but I keep getting transferred to other lines without any additional info or the calls keep getting dropped altogether. Gotta love getting pushed back 6...
