We don't know if it has been installed on a 2.3L. With that, we have a customer who just plced an order for the Fuel Tank skid-plate for a 2.3L engine - i'll follow-up with him and can give an update here!
We do have a plan for that, hopefully in the near future.
It is kind of tricky there with the way the chassis and body work together but hopefully we'll get there soon enough :)
Hey!
The Badlands have an oem steel protector. We haven't tried to replace the original parts tho and only tested these for the WT / OB trims that don't have the oem protectors.
Thank you and you are also correct - it created a gap between the front bumper (original or ASFIR's).
What's "gapped" will be fairly protected by the bumper tho. Think of the angle of what can harm your rig, it comes in the angle of the driving. Thus, the chances are it won't get caught...
Here's a side-shot as well
You got it exactly right - the bumper is moved 103 mm forward (and is mended with the black segment seen in the pic).
Thrilled to present this product (Winch plate for 2.7 Badlands)
The product is not yet available for purchse, but will be in the coming days at asfir.com!
Best,
Reut @ ASFIR

Hi, we're in the midst of an R&D process for a Winch Plate (not hidden) for a 2.7L BL.
Hopefully we'll wrap it up in a matter of a week and will be able to update here too!
We decided not to do it hidden as...
Don't miss out on our new Exhaust Skid-plate and A-Arm protectors!
After many requests - Rear Arm protectors and Winch-Plate are in R&D right now and hopefully will be announced for pre-order soon! 🙌
