It's the 30th Anniversary Bronco!! The Juice is Loose model!!
(5 pages on this thread, and nobody picked this up? What's wrong with you guys, still in Thanksgiving food coma mode?) :-)
Yep, not smooth and clunky, but feels more like the driveshaft linkage and not the transmission itself to me. But it’s conditional on how I engage it. Foot on brake stand still, not smooth. No foot on brake, it’s much better.
Not sure if engine type matters (mine is 2.7), but it’s right above the exhaust pipe coming off the engine, where the evap coil itself is located. Mine does the “sizzler” after a long drive when hot and drips rights onto the pipe. I saw it recently when doing the oil change, it’s a decent side...
Every now and then, a car manufacturer captures the lightening in the bottle with a car. Doesn't matter if it's Nissan (1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R) or Mercedes Benz (SL's). When they achieve that rarity, you jump on it while you can and you get exactly what you want while you can, and enjoy it...
That's good to hear! I feel the same way about VW, and despite everyone knowing someone who's sister's boyfriend's cousin's girlfriend's older sister blew up in a Jetta while driving down the highway, have been the best vehicles I've ever owned (6 of them), from quality of construction to...
Got up at dawn before the wife and kids, cold, drizzle, snuck out to go pick up some coffee for my wife and I, some pancakes for the kids. Blurry eyed myself, eco-mode slow pace, with CSN “Southern Cross” on the radio. Seat heater on, nobody out, beautiful Virginia drizzling fall morning...
Damn! Nicely done! Seems like every time I see a “used” Bronco, it’s basically back to MSRP and forfeit all the “options” costs. Well played! Hope you find the perfect vehicle that scratches that itch, and as a frequent flyer, THANKS for what you do!! Doubt any of us would get on any airplane in...
Can't argue with the decision to eliminate the frustration from your daily life, which is way too short already! Too many other choices out there to live with constant problems.
That said though...fixing a $5k problem (faulty top/warranty) with a $10k answer (depreciation) isn't something you...
Hey @CarbonSteel, curious of your thoughts on the air filter you used recently? Are we happy with it? No concerns? I'm coming up to 20k on mine and was planning to change the air filter at that time. Trying to decide between a trip to the Ford parts counter for another OE, or perhaps one of...
Curious of age and mileage on the car when you did this?
Any concerns with hitting the valve body with the hose as you're fishing it into the transmission?
Best improvement may not have been the fluid itself, but the filter! You got all of that initial break-in material out of there that was...
I had this happen this afternoon as well when I got home from an errand. But when I left for that errand, the system was glitchy in general, wouldn't select XM Radio, wouldn't move through menu very well. I did the soft reset and got it all back to normal. Then got home and noticed the unblocked...
Yeah I'm not sure about the 2-door version if they will work. Perhaps try the seller on Amazon and ask? I'm sorry, not much help....
This is where I'm getting the Cooper Metallic inserts for the handles to see if they're close enough to "roast" to not look too stupid. Figured worth the $25 to...
I think the darker would definitely sync better to the black elements of the interior for sure! Since I have the roast color scheme, I was trying to tie into that aspect as much as I could when deciding.
I ordered some roast colored handle inserts from Etsy to replace the grey on the out side...
Ford, are you listening? I would too!
In case anyone is curious of the aluminum rings in my picture around the GOAT, HVAC/Stereo knobs, these are they below (Also comes with one for the headlights)... They fit mine perfectly, very snug, no sense of being anything other than factory...
Yep, that's what I've got in the wood grain color. Honestly the quality is quite good! Far better than what I was expecting. They stick on with the red 3m double sided tape and hold exceptionally well. Just wipe down the area with some alcohol before you stick them on. None of them have come...
I'm not sure I follow that math either. My experience with buying out a lease (only once for me on a 2013 Toyota Highlander) was to reinforce the principal that I did not lease a vehicle owned by the dealer, I leased the vehicle from the manufacture, and had no intention of paying dealer fees to...
