I hate to break it to you all but I think a good portion of these "glitches" are working as intended. It appears the Badlands is Ford's volume seller, OR the easiest for them to build at volume per cost. That's why the manual transmission is limited to it along with the higher packages.

At this point why even get any other trim than Badlands if the others are so crippled?

Ugh. I didn't want to upgrade to a Badlands just to get a Manual with the mid Package. I'll have to sleep on it. Otherwise, I'm not sure what I want to do...

Because they want you to spend $6000 more dollars on the Badlands.

I'd say they are supply chain/efficiency/economy of scale things. Pisses me off though.

Its available on the Badlands, just not on the lower trims. That's a $6000 "'upgrade". Absolutely bonkers. I hope that's just a mistake.

It's a good thing that the MIC gray top looks good on A51. But a white top would be pretty cool too:

A51 seems like the same sort of color. I'm fascinated (as I'm sure many are) color illusions/theory and how our brain sees them. Cactus Gray you think has green in it, but as you mention it's more blue than green. The name "Cactus" already implies green, and hence why most of us think that...

Yea I saw the video with the partition. But that's the thing I love the idea of a soft top, but I like the overall security, looks and actual glass windows. Another thing I wonder, is the back window zippered? I'd want the ability to store longer things in the back and the glass hard top...

I don't mind the soft top aesthetically. But I do worry about theft; idiots tearing the top to get in, and the windows yellowing. A privacy partition over the trunk would alleviate some of that for me.
