@StephensAutoCenter sorry if this has been asked, but when (if?) a/z plan acceptance is verified, how will the deal work?
Side note: have you heard anything about a/z plan acceptance?
Anyone have any experience with a wrapped car? How does the vinyl hold up? Would it be worth it on something that will likely get scratched up out on the trail?
There’s a $4700 jump from Base 2 door to 4 door, a larger jump than any other trim. With the automatic transmission no longer standard on the 4 door, what are he chances that price difference comes down?
I’m sure it’s been mentioned at some point, but if Ford offers it, dealers don’t have an option of not honoring it. They’re required. Not sure if x plan follows the same rules though.
Unfortunately, seems to be the trend. Maybe because the MI market seems to be flooded with people who have axz plan available? Can’t throw a Faygo bottle without hitting a big 3 employee or one of their relatives...
About one month left before dealer switch cutoff. I contacted Borgman in Grandville and asked about a group buy, including a link to Granger’s offer. Waiting for an email back as to if they’ll have anything to offer. Has anyone else around west MI heard back from their dealer about this?
So, looks like a no go at Barber. They’ll honor any a/x/z plan, but said any non plan deal will stand on its own. Also said he views any lifetime power train warranty as only worth the paper it’s written on.
I was kinda getting that feeling also. Maybe I’m alone in my thoughts on it, but I’m not looking to bankrupt the dealers. I have z plan, so I don’t even think I’d benefit much. I was thinking more along the lines of seeing if they’d eat the doc fees, admin, prep, etc if they know they’re...
So I emailed the sales manager at Barber ford (Holland), which is where I have my reservation. He seemed like a pretty transparent guy. He said he was told they’ll be accepting a/z plan, not sure about x plan. I asked if they might be open to a group deal. His response was that Ford is going...
I hear ya. I’ve bought from Borgman in Grandville in the past, but have no preference, and my wallet will dictate where I buy. No idea if anything will come of it, but it certainly can’t hurt to try and leverage some volume somewhere.
Not to hijack away from Fox Ford, but I talked to Barber Ford in Holland, and asked about any deals for a volume buy. They said they’d bring it up at their next sales manager meeting and would get back to me.
Any other info from Fox about something similar?
