Is the an actual badge or just an overlay? I bought an overlay so my Ford logo is all black but I would love to have cactus gray letters. Please let me know.
I was thinking you could paint the Bronco letters on the grill gold. It might be a little to much so start out with one or two letters. You can always paint them white again or just buy new ones.
Not sure about in Bahrain, but you may be able to get graphics custom made to match (at a local shop) versus buying the retro ones from Ford. I was able to do that here. The stripes I bought online did not fit right so the guy just made new ones. Love the rims, but I agree the silver ring...
She will do great in the snow. It snowed here right after I got mine in May, and not only was driving in the snow fun for the first time in my life, she climbed the mountain with ease. 25-30 MPH, don't get crazy! We saw a new jeep wrecked into the snow bank before I got my Bronco. Two young kids...
Looks great, as does your rig! I have always said if you only had two friends, make it an auto mechanic and a lawyer. I need to mix in an auto body paint shop owner and an upholstery shop owner, LOL.
Agreed. I live in South Lake Tahoe and got my Bronco on 5/4/22. The three times we had late season snow this year Cal-Trans (not CHP) waived me right through on Hwy 50. CHP does not check for chains. If a Bronco needs chains, nobody is going over the summit.
No regrets, but after having mine for four months, I noticed the back passenger door is misaligned by at least 1/16 of an inch. Of course this was after I had graphics installed down the side. If Ford does fix it, I will have to go by back to the shop to align the graphics. Terrible QC at FORD.
Thanks for the reply. I am a novice to off roading. I am going to the Off Rodeo later this month so I will be learning a lot. Knowing what I know now (from this forum), I would have went with SAS if I had it to do all over.
Yes, contact Ford chat as previously mentioned. For some reason it doesn't seem to work with Chrome, so use a different browser. My son was in the same boat as you (only 7 months though). I hit up chat last week using his info, and got his build week, delivery ETA and the VIN number. Good luck!
I have a 2022 non-SAS, no ADV 4X4, OBX. Will adding rock crawl and/or Baja have any benefits for my build, or more importantly, any ill effects for it?
My son got the same email today, he is stoked. It will be cool to have two Broncos in the driveway when he visits.
Ordered 2/18/22, 10/10 Build Week, OBX 2 Door, Lux, MIC, Auto, 2.3
@xtina I haven't been over there but I have an app called On X Offroad an found one called Boca Hill. It is NE of Truckee in the Prosser Pitts OHV area. It says its easy 3/10. Looks like there are some more in that area.
We're in Reno that weekend, then Vegas for the Off Rodeo the next. I can possibly make it the first or second weekend of October. I am getting the windshield recall done on 10/4 (they say three days), so I am not sure if I will have it back by the weekend of the 8th.
@xtina That's great to hear! I'm really looking forward to it. We did one fire road type trail up here (Hawkins Peak) a month or so ago. It was a rated as "easy" and there was only one climb that was a little sketchy. The views at 9400ft were amazing! I had to get mud flaps after that due to a...
I am in South Lake Tahoe so if you head up 50 let me know. I am not interested in doing anything to hard though. I am a novice and I really don't want to jack up my Bronco, LOL. I am going to the Bronco Off Rodeo on 9/24 so I should come away from that with some added confidence.
