You don't need to...there have been no meaningful updates to the procal (iirc) and you can adjust tire size without updating anything...just plug into the obdii port.

Weight is contingent on the tire/wheel combo. Stock is 88lb. I got 26lb wheels and 65lb tires, not really worried about 3lb difference.

Reach out to form and see what they say. @Form Lighting has been easy for me to work with when issues have arisen. I thoroughly reevaluated the market offerings and I honestly think that they have the best product and reliability.
