  1. DIY Electric Lift for soft top / hardtop for $250

Nice! How do you plan to connect the HT to it? I'd love to see how you set that up.
  2. Full-Sized Cargo Rack Shelf (Hooke Road) Review

Ah bummer! Check Amazon, I’ve seen lots of new cargo shelves come to market so maybe one of those will work. Good luck! One thing for anyone getting one of these racks, my bolts are starting to rust already lol. I’ll eventually have to replace them.
  3. Full-Sized Cargo Rack Shelf (Hooke Road) Review

I checked their website and it says it is only for a HT, but who knows since they also said it fits a Bronco Sport. I attached some pix so that you can judge for yourself to see how the soft top would work.
  4. Fuel Mileage - Display versus Calculated?

Oh yeah, its called a Lie-O-Meter for sure. The last time I manually calculated it, I think I was about 16.2 on the dash, but doing it by hand was about 14.25, so that time it was about ~12% off for me, but YMMV of course (literally lol).
  5. Poll: Canvas or Mesh Bimini Top?

I have the OEM Canvas one sitting in a box that I'd be willing to part with. Let me know if you are interested. I went the mesh route :)
  6. Big Bend Katzkin Leather

Nice idea! Did you have cloth before? I'm in So Cal as well and have cloth. I like the look of leather, but I gotta say, I'm not missing the hot seats. DM me the installers you used please!
  7. Big Bend Katzkin Leather

Wow, $1,200, you got a deal. I got quotes of around $2K. Did you go direct to Katzkin?
  8. Is there anything to cover this up?

OK, I am happy to say I have finished my C-Pillar cover and am very happy how they turned out. There’s a few imperfections, but overall it’s waaaay better! I made a template, drew it onto the 1/16” thick ABS sheets I purchased, used my small table scroll saw to cut it out, then put on a little...
  9. Mabett LED Interior Dome Lights 4Pcs Kit Available Now!

Another great product, I am very happy with mine!
  10. Is there anything to cover this up?

Mabett does it again! Those look nice, thanks for sharing. I received my ABS today and I am creating a template to use to see if I can cut out some ABS for the space. I'll post back when I have it done.
  11. Virginia Hooke Road Roof Rack

I tried removing the front fairing and the rear bar, and neither worked. For me the short rack just didn't cut it. However, for $50 it's a sweet deal for a $300 rack!! If I didn't already have one, I'd get it and just use for camping trips and such. If anyone purchases from hookeroad and...
  12. Solid (non-mesh) Waterproof Canvas Bimini Top

I have my 4 door OEM unused canvas top for sale as well.
  13. Possible 3rd Brake Light Option?

A quick update on this. I had a set of take-off Raptor fog lights that I repurposed and attached to the bottom of my bumper - you can see it in bottom-left of my bumper in the pix below. But that light was horid (not sure what Rigid was thinking). So I went back to the drawing board.... I...
  14. Is there anything to cover this up?

Yeah that looks much better, I would assume it is too thick for the HT. However, I am hoping for something cleaner without the screws on it. Yeah I know, first world problems lol.
  15. Hard top users - what is your plan of attack for summer?

I like the pool noodle idea. I was just trying to figure out what to use for the same sort of setup. Thanks!
  16. Mabett’s new 4pc Interior light set and installation

I agree, @Mabett, you have spent a lot of time creating grate products and supporting the forum. Thanks for all the great work!!
  17. My garage setup for doors and hardtop

I have dealt with Hooke Road for my cargo tray and roof rack. While they have a "US" address, their phone number does not work and they respond to emails during the wee hours of the morning. They are an offshore-based business, I only assume China, and use the US address to do the drop...
  18. Mabett's list of products on sale and some discount codes! ! !

@Mabett Any chance you can make something for this eyesore when we take off the HT? Probably something that would fit in that space and hide the screws and not get in the way when we put our HT back on again (that way we can leave it on). Soft Tops have a totally different trim here, this...
  19. Is there anything to cover this up?

I’m thinking this is the trim that I posted earlier. It’s better, but still doesn’t 100% solve the issue in my opinion. It might also be too thick and interfere with the HT going back on?
  20. Is there anything to cover this up?

i was thinking some soft of plastic that I would spray with bed liner to get the textured look. However, your idea is better! Maybe our friends at @Mabett can make this and add to their catalog of parts. What do you say?
