Ah bummer! Check Amazon, I’ve seen lots of new cargo shelves come to market so maybe one of those will work. Good luck!
One thing for anyone getting one of these racks, my bolts are starting to rust already lol. I’ll eventually have to replace them.
I checked their website and it says it is only for a HT, but who knows since they also said it fits a Bronco Sport. I attached some pix so that you can judge for yourself to see how the soft top would work.
Oh yeah, its called a Lie-O-Meter for sure. The last time I manually calculated it, I think I was about 16.2 on the dash, but doing it by hand was about 14.25, so that time it was about ~12% off for me, but YMMV of course (literally lol).
Nice idea! Did you have cloth before? I'm in So Cal as well and have cloth. I like the look of leather, but I gotta say, I'm not missing the hot seats. DM me the installers you used please!
OK, I am happy to say I have finished my C-Pillar cover and am very happy how they turned out. There’s a few imperfections, but overall it’s waaaay better!
I made a template, drew it onto the 1/16” thick ABS sheets I purchased, used my small table scroll saw to cut it out, then put on a little...
Mabett does it again! Those look nice, thanks for sharing.
I received my ABS today and I am creating a template to use to see if I can cut out some ABS for the space. I'll post back when I have it done.
I tried removing the front fairing and the rear bar, and neither worked. For me the short rack just didn't cut it. However, for $50 it's a sweet deal for a $300 rack!! If I didn't already have one, I'd get it and just use for camping trips and such.
If anyone purchases from hookeroad and...
A quick update on this. I had a set of take-off Raptor fog lights that I repurposed and attached to the bottom of my bumper - you can see it in bottom-left of my bumper in the pix below. But that light was horid (not sure what Rigid was thinking). So I went back to the drawing board....
I...
Yeah that looks much better, I would assume it is too thick for the HT. However, I am hoping for something cleaner without the screws on it. Yeah I know, first world problems lol.
I have dealt with Hooke Road for my cargo tray and roof rack. While they have a "US" address, their phone number does not work and they respond to emails during the wee hours of the morning. They are an offshore-based business, I only assume China, and use the US address to do the drop...
@Mabett Any chance you can make something for this eyesore when we take off the HT? Probably something that would fit in that space and hide the screws and not get in the way when we put our HT back on again (that way we can leave it on). Soft Tops have a totally different trim here, this...
I’m thinking this is the trim that I posted earlier. It’s better, but still doesn’t 100% solve the issue in my opinion. It might also be too thick and interfere with the HT going back on?
i was thinking some soft of plastic that I would spray with bed liner to get the textured look. However, your idea is better!
Maybe our friends at @Mabett can make this and add to their catalog of parts. What do you say?
