Wait, so your dealer didn’t install the new airbag, but you got to take it home? As in Ford cancelled the recall? I just got the call today that I can pick my bronco up, I didn’t ask if they installed a new airbag or not tho. I definitely will tomorrow when I pick it up

Got ahold of my dealer today… They finally ordered the parts last week and lo and behold they’re backordered to who knows when… I literally called them the day the remedy was issued saying they could order parts and they sat on their ass for almost 2 weeks. What an absolute joke of a dealership...

When I search for mine, it shows a picture of a sport also, but is listed as a 2 door badlands, so I just figured the NHTSA website just used the wrong picture, strange that yours doesn’t say any recalls though

I’ve been holding out on getting tires for my focus for months now thinking my bronco would be ready, and of course the day I cave in is the day the recall gets addressed 😂😭 maybe I should’ve bought tires sooner!

I’ll keep ya updated as I figure out something with it. I know my dealer is getting annoyed with ford because it’s taking up their time and space in their parking lot. Sucks that it falls back on them, but something definitely has to be done about it
