2 door all the way and no regrets! Kids grown and gone. Only occasional rear passengers. 2 door, for me, is better looking, better scale, better off-road handling/control. Cargo space better than expected + added rooftop Yakima Lock N' Load platform system. 👍
NO amount of foam or bubble wrap is going to negate or lessen the laws of physics. This stationary metal bar will require its own dedicated air bag . . . and even then, good luck!

1. You essentially had to locate the clamps to a little more of the "interior" (non-edge) part of the Lock N Load platform to connect to the width of the CROSSBARS...
