  1. Transmission issues

I'm certainly not purporting to know much other than what I’ve been told and read so far. 208 complaints registered out of an unknown number of failures. 208 people taking time to log complaints seems pretty significant. There is a question of what defines reliability or the lack of….not really...
  2. Transmission issues

Help me understand why you say this. something like 208 complaints for 18-21 Explorers w/ the 10r60 most detailing a major failure of the transmission specifically. Ford is being sued for the 18-21 explorers for a known transmission issue (drum and pressed bushing failure) that was never...
  3. Transmission issues

Hey y'all, my wifes 2020 Explorer ST had all these symptoms and the 10R60 in her vehicle just imploded. full rebuild for a pretty penny at just over 100k miles. I'm pretty concerned about the longevity of the Broncos 10R60 considering. @Ducati1098 is there anything we can do to improve the...

  11. Ham Radio antenna location, need suggestions

Driving with the rear window up? Why? Sounds like a quick way to break your already fragile glass. Certainly IF you did drive with the rear glass up, you'd have an issue and mounting to the front of the bronco is the only option
  12. Overlanding / Camping Group Question: Induction Grilling

i run an induction single cooktop and amazon kettle (to boil water) off my bluetti ac240 and expansion battery. Its awesome. The bluetti will recharge while I drive. I don't camp in a single spot more than 1 night often, but if i did, maybe a small solar setup would be necessary. I was able to...
