  1. Tow Package if Replacing Rear Plastic Bumper

If you plan on replacing your Bronco's plastic rear bumper with an aftermarket steel one, should you bother with adding the tow package when ordering? I'm wondering if the factory receiver hitch will be replaced with one integrated into the aftermarket bumper. Thanks.
  2. Is "adaptive cruise" the only available cruise control?

Thank you, I had the very same question. Using the search function really helped me out. I went back and, sure enough, there it was on the Base as a standard feature. Not that I didn't trust you ?.

  4. Positivity thread!

Ahh, the smell of the pines, the sound of the wind rustling through the trees as you drive your topless and doorless Bronco through the woods to the lake.....
  5. Maintenance 101 (A Dummies Guide for Bronco Ownership)

Several off-road driving 101's on YouTube. You can really prevent a lot of damage by just not over revving and hitting obstacles too hard or at the wrong angle. Spraying some 303 rubber protectant on all the boots underneath may help them from cracking over time.
  6. Official Update: Bronco Reservation Move Cutoff Date (Jan 31) + 2021MY Allocations Cutoff Date (Sep 18) + 2022 MY Reservation Start Date

When I took up Granger on their October offer, I was fully expecting a 2022 delivery. My question was about taking advantage of any changes made by Ford over the course of a year between converting to an order in December '20 - January '21 and delivery sometime in '22. As I understand, you can...
  7. Broncos on Display December 3rd at Sheehy Ford of Richmond!!

..we are a high volume dealership that believes in moving a large volume of vehicles at lower profits. We have committed to selling Broncos at MSRP (except First Edition)..
  8. POLL: Are you buying from Granger?

Have a reservation with Granger. The $2k below invoice was the enticement to reserve in October, but I put a lot of stock in doing business with someone who is knowledgeable and who I trust. From everything I've read on and off this forum, they have an excellent reputation. I'm one of who...
  9. Anyone changing from Wildtrak to Badlands

Sticking with the Wildtrak. Want the hard/modular top, 2.7 and squach. Having vinyl seats in hot, humid summers in the past keeps me from going that route. Weather Tech mats and after market, quick swaybar disconnect if needed.
  10. Pics of Marine Grade Vinyl Seats vs Leather Seats in 2021 Bronco - comparison

OCD tendencies checking in, I like the Bronco embossing on the leather better. You'd think something as important as this logo would be dead-on, maybe preproduction variation.
  11. Washout floor, rubber floor mats, rear AC / heat air vents in 4 door Bronco Overland build

Any you old guys/gals remember the 60's-70's station wagons you used to sit in the back on vinyl seats, no vents and no window tint? Third row would fold down and you'd be laying around back there? Ah, the good ol' days. (Not)
  12. Lilj4425's Super Duper photo thread from Bronco Super Celebration East

Great pictures, thanks!! I wish those painted gas cans had white lids. ;)
  13. Rocking it without the spare tire (delete).

Certainly different opinions on the aesthetics of a spare tire cover, but this location of the backup camera would seem to prevent using a cover.
  14. First new Broncos spotted at Super Celebration East

As has already been mentioned, East TN is a beautiful part of the country. I lived in Knoxville for awhile. If your travel plans allow and you and your vehicle enjoy twisty roads, check out Tail of the Dragon. Cherohala Skyway is also a nice drive. Please stay on your side of the yellow lines!
  15. Is anybody considering switching from selling your current vehicle to keeping it?

Few random thoughts: The Outback is, roughly, the same type vehicle. Will you really still drive the Outback when you get a Bronco? Is the Outback nearing a point where you're going to have to spend a fair amount of money to maintain it? Timing chain/belt, bearings, engine work...
  16. Marine grade vinyl in Arizona!! Is this a good choice??

Now at the other end of the spectrum: You guys in Colorado can probably relate, but while I live in Arkansas now, I was in Nebraska and Wisconsin combined for about 30 years and in those sub zero days that vinyl would almost crack when you first sat in it and it would never warm up. Used to...
  17. Marine grade vinyl in Arizona!! Is this a good choice??

Everyone has their own preferences, thus the different options, but as long as you asked.... The color of the vinyl has a lot to do with the initial seat temperature, but in my experience, the vinyl seats I had back in the day didn't breathe and your back would get soaked by sweat. Granted, I...
  18. Marine grade vinyl in Arizona!! Is this a good choice??

Vacation Bible School? :sneaky: Sorry, couldn't help it.
  19. Ford email update -- reservations, ordering, mid-October Build & Price

You'll be able to pay a couple thousand less than invoice if you want to check out Granger just outside Des Moines, IA.
  20. Paint or powder coating on wheels

Painting may allow for easier touch-up repair when needed. I've read where that's the reason for painting rock rails/sliders rather than powder coat.
