Unfortunately Iāve found just about anytime a tire gets rubbed against leaves some black discoloration. With that being said, Griots has a new Ceramic tire dressing that may help prevent unwanted black transfer when accidentally rubbed or touched, but not sure if there is anything on the market...
Ya mine rattles too when unoccupied. I feel like itās the seat back itself bouncing around when going over bumps. Rails or seat back it is annoying for sure!!
Glad itās working. There was a āconnectivity updateā on the 3rd for Sync, maybe it was confused and took an extra day to sync it all back up. Glad itās working for u now!! Enjoy your Bronco!!
Did the nav screen work in the last week. I too have built in nav and can get map but no other functions unless I pay for subscription. Does your phone connect and work ok for calls and or music? Not sure if itās the need for subscription or not for your case but mine is the same way as you...
Just for future reference. If you have the Ford Pass app you can find owners manual there that states oil capacity 6 quarts. Wondering if filter is taking the additional .5 quart people are mentioning. Mine takes 6 even with filter change.
Agreed with HighVelocity-do not pay for sas if you already know youāll be putting on bigger lift and bigger tires, most of the sas suspension will b replaced anyway.
The pic you posted is the Capable bumper. I too have standard bumper and itās true there are not a lot of accessories for it. There is a smallish bull bar that mounts to the bolts on bottom tow points of standard bumper (but canāt recall who makes it)that you could then add lights to. I think...
Maybe something to think aboutā¦
If your stock tires are Bridgestone Duellers 255/70r18, (what used to come stock on OBX non sas)specs for that tire show 43lbs. For the 285/65 KO2 is 58lbs. Keep in mind the effect of adding roughly 15lbs of tire weight to each wheel. If the specs Iām looking at...
Iām running 275/65r18 32.1ā diameter 10.8āwidth(which is same diameter as stock 255/70r18 just wider 10.0ā. 285/65r18 is 32.6ā diameter and 11.2ā wide. So you get extra weight on tire for a for minimal gain. Also not a tire expert but I think 285 only available in LT option. Consensus on this...
Sorry to hear the detailed issues. That is mysterious. Just try to make sure you have a reputable body shop to get the alignment of panels correct before repairing chips. FYI body shop or a good mobile paint repair person can touch up those chips and wet sand and polish the area and will look...
I wash MIC top then apply Griots Ceramic 3in1 wax every couple months
(AZ summer sun is brutal) Works great on top could use it on black flares too. Griots also has a great āTrim Restore Dressingā that works well on textured plastic like flares and bumpers. There are a number of different...
I totally understand and agree with addressing the issue before repairing. I just could not see from pics that it was making contact. Did the dealer refer you to their collision body shop telling you it would not be covered under warranty, or were they referring you to them to get it repaired...
I feel your pain. Too bad that the 1 in a many had to be you instead of found faulty before leaving factory. I had a bad experience with new 250 6.7 few years back, 7000 miles in and the heads and valves had to be replaced. It took them some time but they were able to get it running like new...
