  1. Who else is losing hope?

I pointed out on Twitter the problem Ford would have if they show how they are hurting early reservation holders with the allocation formula. Since Mr Levine stopped gaslighting me, crickets from Ford
  2. Who else is losing hope?

I had hoped that by getting Bloomberg's attention and highlighting Ford's allocation rule changes then Ford would have to own up and maybe help us early reservation holders. Instead, Ford has doubled down on allocations for big dealers no matter what they promised their customers. Yeah, I'm...
  3. SWAG Spigot slammed shut

Ford has gone to full-on blame-the-customer and blame-the-dealer mode. They have never admitted that the rule changes they made have hurt their customers. They seem content to brag to anyone who will listen that they've got new toys coming and Bronco sales are awesome. We know better.
  4. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

Ford did state that they would build reservations in timestamp order and that they would build all reservations before any stock. Your can check the internet time machine for their FAQ at the time Ford knew people were moving reservations around. They encouraged it, extending the timeframe...
  5. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

This was just an example that I'm aware of. There may be others. My only point was that Ford allowed a small town dealer to sell all over the country and grow to the tenth largest fleet in the country. Why not again?
  6. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

This has been well covered territory. There have always been big dealers selling out of "territory" including one in Granger's backyard. Woodhouse Ford of Blair Nebraska (~7,000 people) is the 10th largest Ford dealer in the country and for 30+ years has bragged about selling to all fifty...
  7. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

We've been Tweeting at Ford since October. We have been using #ReservationsOverAllocations Please jump on this thread, we struck a nerve with Ford
  8. $1k to Lower Priority Code and Get Delivery Sooner?

The allocation breakdown mentioned is the 2021 formula. For 2022 it's even worse. The 22 formula has ZERO weight based on number of Bronco orders.
  9. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

Where that analogy falls apart for me is that the dealer isn't making the Broncos, Ford is. They make they same number no matter who sells them. Ford changing their rules after people were already stuck is just plain wrong
  10. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

I think the article says it. 1,300 orders which is about 1% of the 125,000 Ford claimed. Mystifying that Ford would slam one of their best Bronco dealers instead of rewarding them and looking to emulate what made them successful
  11. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

Remember at the time Ford was saying they wanted to move away from inventory sitting on the lots to an order based system. No one knew they would abandon what they were bragging to Wall Street about.
  12. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

That a bit of an exaggeration. Granger pulled maybe 1% of all orders. Way less than many dealers. With what they got in 2021 they were doing fine. They were getting a few a week. Nothing they couldn't handle and process.
  13. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

I'm the guy in the article. I knew I didn't need my Bronco soon. I gave up an August reservation for Oct 1. At the time Ford was saying all orders would be build before stock and with their expected build rates would be done by end of 2022. I also wanted to wait for the mod top so no big...
  14. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

I'm very amused that the PR director for a major corporation is wasting his Friday evening trying spin control on my tweets
  15. Article: Dude, Where's My Bronco? Ford took online reservations for its hottest vehicle in decades, but shipments anything but 1st come / 1st serve

My daily Tweets since October got me a call from a reporter. I don't know if this will change anything, but it feels good.
  16. Where Did the Granger Ford Allocation Update Thread Go?

The people on this thread understand the supply chain issues. We get it. The problem is that Ford is choosing to send the Broncos they are able to build to big dealers rather than dealers with lots of Bronco orders, even though Ford told us many times that was not what they were going to do.
