Because they can charge more and make more profits
It's a business not a charity, gotta hold things back to convince people to open their wallets wider to get the real good stuff
It would be very odd if the audio upgrade was only available on lux pack. I don't think I've seen any other models that were so limited on audio upgrades. That's usually a pretty good profit maker for them so I'd expect them to make it available outside of lux pack
Congrats on the choice!
That hybrid setup with generator onboard is so damn cool
Ford really put a great package together there
You can take your truck to the trail and power a welder to fix broken Jeep's now
I thought the 200 things were dealer installed accessories, not options
They'll be stuff like upgraded grab handles and the doors with holes in them, probably at least 3 different kinds of floor mats
Anything bolted in by those bronco torx can be upgraded with some accessories
You conveniently left out the manual is slower too
Wouldn't be fun if you got a manual, your buddy got the auto 4 and constantly beat you from every stoplight
Like I said before, I drive manual, always have. But it's just not better anymore.
You can prefer a manual, you can enjoy a manual...
Is it fun enough to get worse mpg and a slower truck?
Not talking about the 6 either
The slushbox 4 will be faster and more efficient than the manual
Sure shifting is fun, but if you can't do it better than the machine then what's the point? None of us can shift better than the machine anymore
Time to give it up
I've been manual my whole life but it's just silly to keep it up at this point
Manuals used to be faster, more efficient, cheaper
Not really the case anymore
I'm not doing extra work shifting in order to have a slower and less efficient car. At this point buying the manual...
Doesn't every car come with a touchscreen infotainment system now that backup camera is mandatory?
Also you won't find a car without power windows, c'mon when was the last time you saw crank windows? If you made that hand crank gesture at anyone under 30 they would have no idea you were...
I think you are spot on in the upgrade to big bend with mid sounding like a poor value compared to base
There's enough content held back though that many will spend for it even with it being a poor value
Yeah, but Ford's plan is that they really don't want you to actually buy the base
They price it low to let them advertise a low price, then make it miserable enough that they know you'll end up buying a more expensive version
Advertising Sasquatch availability on base gets people excited...
Big sur is friggin beautiful
The marathon they put on in March is amazing, you grab a bus in Monterey, they drive you to big sur then you run back. Absolutely epic journey
You don't need an oil change in CA, just vary your rpms a bit
Engines are made to vastly tighter tolerance today, they don't need 3k oil changes or crazy break in procedures
Also you may be underestimating the size of CA, it's a haul from socal to Oregon, and the coast roads are beautiful...
The md package is a relatively low cost, if the difference between being able to afford a bronco is made or broken by $1500 then you're really on the knife edge of being in your budget anyways.
At that point, have we accounted for insurance and gas cost, both will be higher on bronco vs most...
Seems cheap to make it ready for a bike hauler. Especially since fitting them inside the 2 door isn't looking good
Could you get it cheaper from u-haul or something? Probably, but it's convenient to just have it ready from the start
Fly-by-night is on target
Gravel bike, it's a roadbike with almost mountain bike tires
Cannondale topstone, canyon grail are good options
Search for gravel bikes, almost every maker has one now
