I think the message I got from the CSX phone line was, "car TTGXxxxxxx is empty and was released by the customer on July 9th at UT 2:01 pm" or something similar.

It was the same phone number that I was tracking it with. I was using the CSX number all along [(800) 235-2352]even though it was on a UP line past Saint Louis MO. Every time I called it gave me last location and time it departed that location with no ETA. Barnett is probably a rail yard name...

I got the same message on Friday 7/8 around 9 am my bronco was at Rolla, Colorado (Denver area Union Pacific off-loading site), and that it was "placed at customer location"; on Sunday the 10th, I called the CSX line back and it gave me the message that the rail car was empty as of Sat 7/9 at 4...

I think it depends on the dealer, mine provided me with with a rail car number. Some just don’t want to deal with the hassle, that’s their policy not Ford’s.

From what I was told, they estimate the time it gets to the train drop off point and add a couple of weeks, because most cas get picked up within that time frame if they are not damaged during the unloading operations. If the car gets picked up earlier, they are still OK, in the cases where...

They have to have the proper insurance to carry certain cars, Ford may have different coverage requirements than GM, but if they have the right insurance coverages they get to pick which cars they pick up, not Ford or the dealership.

here is my car's journey so far, as documented by my using a computer voice on the CSX automated phone line. I don't know how TTGX sounds like TQJA but that is the response I get sometimes from that stupid voice recognition system, must be my accent ! Blend date on 6/23, build completed...

I talked to my sales rep this afternoon and he explained to me how the system works. There is no place in line that determines when and what cars get picked up. The way it works is, cars get off loaded at a huge automobile receiving facility in a metro area that is designated as such. There...

that's exactly what mine did, it switched from CSX to UP around Saint Louis but I continue to be able to track it through the CSX automated phone line.

Who knows what the railroad and truck transport gods hold for us, in the end it will all be a bump in the road, you will forget about this annoying part of the journey once you plunk down your 50+k and drive home from the dealership.

It started out with CSX, through Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, then Illinois, then it got transferred to a UP line once it crossed the Mississipi in the Saint Louis area, from there I could still track it using the CSX phone number even though it was on a UP train, it made its way across Missouri to...

The rail car tracker says the car has just left Topeka Kansas en route to Denver as it wades and winds its way across the great Kansas and Colorado plains to Commerce City, Colorado where it will be off-loaded for its final 60 mile voyage from the Denver metro area to my local dealership. I am...

Did you mean to say June 28th ? If so, your car was originally scheduled to be built between 6/20 and 6/26 which made your build week the 6/20 week, you were then bumped to the June 27 build week since your blend date was on 6/28 and your actual build week is the 6/27 week which covers the...
