I guess another question is if we want to do the Eva conover part of the trail. (That is what I did when I did it) or do we want to do the āfix it passā part of the trail?
Ok I have it marked in my calendar. Does anyone that is planning on going, have a particular place they want to camp? There is a pretty cool spot under the eagle canyon arch. Or do you want to be closer to swasey cabin.
Do people want to camp? Meet up on a Friday Night? Do the trail on Saturday and then have Sunday to drive home? Or are people more into just meeting up at the trail head on a Saturday or Sunday, doing the trail and heading home the same day?
Eagle canyon is pretty mellow. But that being said. My wife does not like off road either. And she would not have liked the drive but would have loved the scenery. The racetrack part she would have been miserable. There are lots of hiking trails for sure. And as mentioned, bring extra gas if you...
It looks like it is getting more popular. This year I saw that it is a part of the Moab Easter jeep safari. But they are running it the opposite direction from what I did. I might have to go back this summer and try it the other way.
