I got my 4dr A-51 BL MIC on Aug 19th.
Ordered from Loveland Ford.
I was their first customer delivery.
Not sure how my order got pulled as I was late teens-to-mid-20s on their list of allocations.
MSRP, but got about $1300 of Ford Pass points.
There are a few up here in FOCO.
All I've seen...
Iāve had the opposite reaction. The jeep guys Iāve talked to are really excited for the Bronco. Either they want one or welcome the company in the off road world.
Mine was pushed a month. Then showed up at the local rail yard in 2 weeks. Took two weeks to get it out of the yard and to the dealer.
got it in 1 month vs the Ford push to 2 months.
Dodge.
The early motors for the Model A were Dodge Bros motors. HF also had the crates for the engine built to print as well. When the motor was used in the car, the crate was taken apart and used in the floorboards of the car.
You can also look at the Grill and count the number of vertical slots.
7 = Willys Overland, 9=Ford
Ford held a trademark on the 9 slot grill and came up with the idea of stamping/dimpling them in to make it a stronger piece. After the war there were some legal battles over the design. (9 vs...
A few of us here in FOCO have taken delivery. Got my 4dr BL 2 weeks ago. Plan to get past the first 1000 miles before taking it out. No sure where yet, but my neighbors all go wheeling so, I have open invites to join along.
My dealer said we didn't need to sign anything at order time. Just the deposit.
We had email communication and verbal communication that stating I'd pay MSRP + tax +Doc Fee.
They honored it without issue.
If done correctly, there should be a coating of Zinc Phosphate or Iron Phosphate done before powder coat.
If the surface is blasted and really clean before coating, you may have a shot at good adhesion without a phosphate coating.
The Phosphate coating guarantees good adhesion.
When I used to...
Just got a chip today. 10 days and 300 miles on the clock. Ugh. Luckily itās small enough that it should be able to be filled.
I posted on FB and a guy claimed his got a big crack and the whole window needs to be replaced. Quoted a 6-8 month lead timeš³
Yes. Picked it up last Thursday.
Thinking it was held for the top at the yard. Itās ok at 5ft away. Up close you can see issues. Also top had a scratch or two in it. Looked like someone tried to clean it out. Dealer said it came that way.
Did you get yours yet?
Driven both. Donāt notice a huge difference between the two.
The SAS I drove was a soft top. This is quieter in town. Theyāre both loud on the highway.
Mine passed QC looking like this. Tops donāt āalignā very well either.
Passenger front panel. Looks worse to the naked eye
The clamshell looks worse in some area but itās hard to photograph.
Just took delivery of my MIC 4dr BL.
The dealer thinks itās the only 4dr Hardtop in Colorado. Who knows. I was the dealers 1st customer delivery.
The hard top. Looks good from 5 feet away. Up close and you can see the honeycomb. Not horrible, but noticeable.
Some blemishes in the color...
On my test drive, I only had the auto stop/start kick in once. Only kicked on when I pushed hard on the brake at a light. Lighter on the pedal and it didnāt kick in.
